The good news is SSC has cancelled the typing test conducted on 18 Jan 2025 (Shift 2). Re-test scheduled on 31 Jan 2025. Time 1 pm. Tentative date of uploading of admit card- 27 Jan 2025. This win-win situation is bcs of the collective effort of the aspirant community. If u hadnt reacted on time, perhaps SSC would have overlooked the technical glitch. Justice prevailed. Kudos to u all!!

It has the spiritual ideas of Hinduism and jainism. The element is fire. It is mentioned in Natya shastra, Silappatikaram, Tolkappiyam(kootha nool), Manimegala and Abhinaya Darpana.In 1932 Sadiraattam was renamed as Bharatanatyam by Krishna Iyer and Rukmini Devi Arundale. The Thanjavur quartet has developed its basic structure. Bharatanatyam is also known as sadiraattam, parathaiyar aattam and thevarattam. The dance is seen in Shiva temple. Ex: Kanchipuram shiva temple, chidambaram temple, cave 1 of Badami temple(karnataka) which has the tandava dancing shiva ie Nataraja(5 feet tall, 18 arms which shows mudras). In 1910 due to the anti dance movement of 1892 Bharatanatyam was banned by the British government. The dancer was known as Devadasi. Bharatanatyam has 3 styles ( Pandanallur style, Thanjavur style and Kalakshetra style(Rukmini Devi Arundhale)). Alarippu, jatiswaram, varnam,padams,tillana and shloka are associated with this dance.
