I mashed an attack button. Most weapons allow you to perform an aerial attack when launched upward by another hunter, providing you're quick enough on the draw.

Dual Blade main here, you can totally manage without dash juice if you play around with some jewels and sheathe/unsheathe properly. I have over 500 hours with DB and only used dash juice when absolutely necessary and in extremely difficult fights.

Gunlance main here. I I legit got to the guiding lands using only gunlance. Imagine my surprise when I use dual blades for the first time and wipe the floor with literally every monster. Dual blades are cool asf. And I'm salty. PLEASE WHY IS GL SO AIDS

except the dual blade's rolling slashes are at least viable, especially if you're lacking tenderized legs/need to reach a high up part.

bro no hunting horn mains uses poke as sharp dmg. sure, its the only sharp attack of HH but they dont use it to cut tails because its so low on dmg. they use it to quickly queue notes or to have quick recitals

@@ungamcbunga2628 It's a great move to queue notes. Keep in mind that most attacks are modified by keeping the stick neutral, pushing it forward, or side to side, and the forward red note attack lets you play a second note during its attack. so attack up large can be played (neutral purple, forward red, double note [during the red - mash or just time it to be around the second swing], and then a back-facing purple.; a, b, ab, a)
