I figured it out. For whatever reason it wasn't working with admin and no password, so I created a new user and password and that worked

One possible reason is that you may have previously set a password for your camera. By default there is no password. Therefore, when editing the RSTP URL you must also enter the password.

@@Green-Backyard Thanks for the response. I watched the video and it is telling me I need a mac book and cell phone. I don't have either. I have a camera but I cannot get it to pair on my android device. I bought it from Amazon 2 years ago and for 2 years have not been able to get it to work.

This bird feeder camera cost me over $100. I do not want to spend more money for another camera just to find out that once again it won't work unless I have a cell phone and/or a router. I am not looking at this point to get a new camera (maybe in the future). I am just trying to figure out how to pair the one i have to show up on my android device.

Yes, just ensure that the battery pack has enough capacity to last through long nights or cloudy days when solar charging may be reduced. Cloud storage is not supported as it'll generate monthly subscriptions but we want our app to be totally free. The infrared LEDs will automatically turn on in low-light conditions. However, you can schedule or turn on the daytime LEDs manually on the app.

Yes, but we only recommend using it during the day. Opening it at night may interfere with nesting birds. But we installed the infrared LEDs that automatically turns on at night.

Yes, but the distance from the outlet to the nest box should be kept within 50M or you experience a voltage drop.

To find the RTSP URL for your camera, you need to find the IP address first. Open up VMS, go to Device Manager, and then note down the IP address of your camera. It will look something like 192.168.1.9, though it won't be exactly the same. Now, you need to convert the IP address into a RTSP stream. You can use this: rtsp://x.x.x.x:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?real_stream (Replace the IP address to your camera and enter the password if there is any.
