About and hors worth of the aurora condensed into 16 seconds. It was quite the show, and a bucket-list ticked off from the comfort of my own back yard.

Hill farm roe deer (drone footage)

Sit back, relax and enjoy a red kite's view of a somewhat parched Hill Farm. As the sun was setting a couple of deer came out for a much needed drink from the water troughs.

Watch a vixen feed her cute fox cubs - An amazing trail camera capture
Переглядів 903 роки тому
How's about this for foxes performing to the camera? Couldn't have framed it better if we'd been behind the camera. Two of our local vixens decide to use the area directly in front of the trail camera to feed their young cubs. Filmed on Browning Dark Ops Pro XD

We visited a wildlife rescue centre - AMAZING
Переглядів 2064 роки тому
We took time out over the recent bank holiday weekend to visit and film at a local wildlife rescue centre. The work Chris and his volunteers do is truly amazing and they are completely donation funded. There's no animal they won't try to help and return to the wild. See more of what they do here: cwwildliferescue.com/
The sound of a Muntjac Deer 'barking'
Переглядів 9 тис.4 роки тому
It's a question that often crops up on social channels. "can anyone identify this sound please?" Queue the strange other worldly sound of something screaming/barking/yelping in the distance. Many people wrongly attribute this 'bark' to foxes. This tiny non-native deer is the smallest in Britain, not much larger than a fox, and has copper-brown fur, with darker markings on the legs and face - wh...
The Hedgehog in the garden - Most loved animal?
Переглядів 364 роки тому
One of the UK's most loved small mammals. This hedgehog has been hanging around for a few weeks now and seems to be living in a wild log pile area of our garden. Can't tell yet if it's a male or a female or if we'll hear the sound of ting hoglet feet any time soon. They used to be very common when I was a kid but this is the first one i've seen now for a couple of years.
A Roe Buck and the Muntjac mother and fawn visit the trail camera.

A busy night on the Chorleywood trail camera
This is the most stupid, horrible thing I've seen in all the years (50!!!) I'm fishing for carp. You should really be ashamed of yourself !!! Be glad I wasn't there. I would immediately report you to the bailiff and the owner of the lake, be sure. ⬇️
RIP Steve
RIP Steve 😞
Such sad news. Cancer can go f**k itself. Taken way too early.
We had two last night barking by RAF Lakenheath for an hour solid.
great hearing the bells in the background for the Heather footage. Great memories
Didn't it nearly always get caught as the bells rang?
@@theukwildlifechannel1696 Some of the early captures of Basil were famous for the bells ringing - not sure about Heather.
@@Toronto_James maybe that's what I remember
How long did you need keep it out the water for? wankers
The good old days when no one thought to try and earn a living out it !
How long was that fish out thr water.... no wonder it died at a young age
It didn't die at a young age. The entire lake's fish population died in one go about 9 years after this capture. Everything in the lake died. Carp, pike, eels, tench, snails etc etc. Completely wiped out due to a natural algae bloom and oxygen crash.
A young Tom Dove in shot!!
He'd be about 12 when this was shot
goalkeeper for the dustbin? I think that's "thrush"
You captured 2 there. Becoming more regular, dont you think?.
Legend has it someone is still getting the Matt.....,
Saw it too through my kitchen window (in the same part of the world). Dazzling, bright green object, moving fast across the night sky and seemingly low on the horizon; emerging from the east and heading west. Thought any moment there would be a loud bang. Wondered what on earth it could be? Amazing and quite eerie experience. Quite beautiful and mysterious.
Our local Facebook page is reporting another just been spotted going overhead. There must be an explanation. Seems odd there's been a few within a matter of days.
If you can get a link would love 2 see
@@joebloggs7103 still waiting to see if anyone managed to capture it on video. Just lots of sightings being reported so far.
I was just bout to go to sleep then i saw this in the sky!
about. just that one extra letter. too much?
This clip here shows it the best btw thanks for capturing it I surely will never forget that night as it was incredible
Better than this one? ua-cam.com/video/KqPAPTY0iKk/v-deo.html
I was driving on the motorway right beneath it as it happened, I thought I was just seeing things.
Wish I'd have seen it in the flesh. We hadn't been home long from a night in the pub.
We saw this same one in Dorset!! It looked bigger where we were! Great vid!!
South facing garden so makes sense. I wonder if any of it hit the ground?
@@theukwildlifechannel1696 it was huge where we were, we were on the a31 going around the Charbrough Estate near Almer. There was a lorry behind us so I’m hoping that had a dash cam!!
Just found a vid of it in Portsmouth
@@lukeelliott1983 Just watched it. Dash cam footage. So cool.
I was out metal detecting in a field out in ilchester, Somerset couldn't believe what I had just saw lol shouted to my gf who also seen it saying "wtf is that" 🤣🤣 then a minute later heard a rumble which sent all the birds crazy . I had to stop and check if I'd missed a nuke warning in google
Just subscribed ☺👍Is this in Chorley Lancashire?
No my friend. Chorleywood, Hertfordshire.
I can hear the unmistakable voice of Lewis Read in the background
Was für ein großartiger Spiegler . Glückwunsch dem Fänger. Dafür machen wir das. Grüße aus Deutschland Michael
Wow what a great looking mirror
What an angler Steve is x
Out the water for 8 mins?
Super cute!!
Nice.
All fields empty of any cows or sheep.. or edible crops.. Once it was very different
Lovely.
Stunning views !
Old Derek in the background
Lovely to watch, but that racket in the background spoils it
After the fish kill that wiped out all the fish stock in the lake, i was told they found a dead common over 60lb that had never been caught!
Very true. Heard Dave Lane talk about it. Seen many times in the water but never saw the bank.
@@theukwildlifechannel1696 I was also told of specimen tench n bream that were found dead. Is that true?
@@richardwalker4220 quite possibly. All the pits in the area have a record of specimens of both species. It was/is a very very rich lake. I'm sure a few 'new' fish have found their way in there.

Is this the Dutch fish?
No this is THE black mirror
