Close! It's Ladino like an above commenter said which is the archaic form of Spanish. But I can say that style definitely suits Idina's voice and I'm hopeful she could record a Latin music album someday!

She sang in Ladino - which is an archaic form of Spanish that was spoken by the Jews of the Iberian peninsula during the time of the Spanish Inquisition. Sephardic Jewish communities continue to speak this language, even though the numbers are dwindling. You can tell the difference when she says "cintyu kandelikas" and "sesh kandelikas" instead of cinco and seis.

The song is in Ladino and the music is Ladino-Sephardic too which has some Spanish and Andalusian/MENA influence. There has been some Andalusian and Sephardic influence in Latin America and of course Spanish (which is itself to some extent influenced by Andalusian and Sephardic cultures) but I think that Latin American music is mostly very influenced by African and ndigenous rhythms. Though I can see why this might seem somewhat similar to Latin American rhythms. Edit: Apparently the Argentinian tango music is newly added.
