Lorsque la perfection de la composition et la perfection de l'interprétation, nous paraissent ne pas être sujettes à caution, qu'elles nous semblent toutes les deux indéniables, elles nous interrogent sur le fait de savoir pourquoi, bien que pensant cela on se surprend à chercher des poux à la composition et à l'interprétation ...en question, comme sur la tête d'un chauve... Chercher à prendre en défaut les compositeurs, ou l'un(e) ou l'autre au moins des interprètes de leurs oeuvres, est certainement le sport le plus répandu des critique de tout poil, comme des chauves, d'ailleurs. C'est dans tous les domaines des activités humaines un des travers naturels semble-t-il de la nature humaine, les plus agissants... Voilà qui laisse à réfléchir.

Impressionante ! Será como Carlos Gomes é desconhecido por nossas Emissoras. Em 1969 apenas a jovem pan anunciou a presença da Ópera completa do Teatro São Carlos de Nápoles com três ótimos títulos e excelente elenco, não esquecendo a presença de Mário Del Mônaco no Otello. Espetacular a presença de Gian Giácomo Guelfi no Nabuco e na Gioconda de Amilcare Ponchelli como o vilão Barnaba. Também espetacular a temporada de 70 no Centenário do Guarani.

Palestrina is brilliant, a holy voice of worship. I'm not Roman Catholic. Though Mary is special in our holy catholic faith, shared by all who love and follow Jesus, I do not worship her. She is not part of the Trinity. I'm constantly bewildered by the worship of Mary.
Catholics HONOR and venerate Mary, no worship at all. We honor Christ's Mother, she is "full of grace...Blessed among woman.." the Hail Mary is half right out of the bible and half from the Church. Honor your father and mother as God has said, and while you're at it, honor His Mother too..

Messe de l'Homme ARMÉ. Thème utilisé par beaucoup de compositeur de l'époque. "Ammé" ne veut rien dire en francais. À force d'utiliser tout le temps l'Anglais, vous oubliez les autres grandes langues de culture. Concernant le dernier des commentaires: ce n'est pas du grégorien.
Magnifique, mais la version de Lourenço Rebelo, avec ses dissonances si étranges, est plus impressionnante et touche davantage.
