Belleayre Mountain: Overlook Quad
This lift replaced Lift 7, the last remaining Riblet lift in all of ORDA. However, it follows a new alignment compared to its predecessor. It starts below the Overlook Lodge, crosses over the parking lot, follows the A51 trail up to the mid station, and the Yahoo trail at the top. The mid station ramp was not finished in time for the first season, so everyone riding the lift had to go to the top. Because the lift starts below the parking lot, a new skier bridge was constructed over the parking lot, which actually reused decking from the old Tappan Zee Bridge. Also, a new intermediate trail was cut from the top, called Goat Path.

The Skyeship Express Gondola is a system of two gondolas that provide lift service from Skyeship Base on Route 4 to the top of Skye Peak. The stages meet up at the bottom of the Needle's Eye trail, where cabins can either be turned, or interlined onto the next stage. Two other lifts, the Needle's Eye Express, and Northbrook Quad, also begin there. While it's an old lift, it has low hours for it...

There are some similarities between this lift and Pallavicini at Arapahoe Basin. They are both modern double chairs that replaced older double chairs, and they both serve advanced & expert terrain. The main difference is that Pali has closer chair spacing and runs a tad faster.

The reason why Kaatskill Flyer is one of the last Leitner-Poma Omega systems ever built is because on that same year, Leitner-Poma built their first ever LPA system on the High Noon Express at Vail Ski Resort in Colorado, and they phased out the Omega system after the High Noon Express was built.

Snowshed III, Superstar at Killington, Summit & Golden Express at Pico and Quicksilver at Whistler B.C. were the first generation of YAN/LE detachable quad chairs. An absolutely awful grip design on these lifts cost several skiers their lives as a chair fell from the line at Whistler. These events led to YAN/LE going out of business not long thereafter. Any resort that still operates these lifts has had to revise them with chairs, grips, sheave trains and terminals from other lift manufacturers (Leitner/Poma) to safely operate them. I believe the Quicksilver lift at Whistler was completely replaced after the tragic events there. If you notice between 43 to 45 seconds into this video, a metal cross arm on each chair, below the main hanger (where the chair # is) - these cross arms were added about 4 years after the lift opened as the (YAN built) main hanger connections were cracking, and about to fail.
