A little project to hardwire a radar detector to one of the fuse boxes. In this case, for the AMG C63s, the driver's side fuse box and particularly the fuse associated with the A/C (slot 216). DO NOT use any critical fuses (e.g., airbags), just non-critical fuses that are ON/OFF when the car is ON/OFF. Check your car's fuse box diagram to identify the A/C fuse or similar. @UnidenAmerica

You have to buy it or you can spray pain it.
That’s not how a lot of them are they don’t have a plate it’s attached to that comes out

Not behind but in front of the radiator. There should be enough space between the front grill and the radiator, at least for a sheet of plastic or paper.

Using a heat gun would help loosen the adhesive, making the removal a lot easier.
That would work too but I don't have one and part of the cover is wrapped, so it would damage/warp the wrap.

Would have helped if you showed the spots that are the indents to press on before sliding the lid down. Nowhere seems to unlock it & lots of indentations to press on
Well, pretty much everyone that has seen the video hasn't had any issues with removing the star...The indentations are one on each side, almost next to the lower spokes of the star, on the inside.
This is the best how to for laying and wrapping carbon fiber. I've been looking and this one just decided to pop up. Thank you!

@@mitshylebrun2205 Elmer’s spray on glue but any spray on glue will work.
@@mitshylebrun2205 I don’t have a link for them. Just any sand blocks in the grits described will work. Home Depot carries them or any other hardware store.
Add both to one cup mix then pour into another cup with your stick on the top to help pour lol
If I do it like this try have extra carbon over hanging the edge that helps stick to the corners. Use a window blade to cover the resin each time. Works great
I do lots of these I would sand the hell out of it first then resin base and stick that way it won’t come up. Or vacuum seal

Francisco, I enjoyed your video on the EQS 450+. As nice as the car appears, why no frunk....what's under the hood? How much space is there in the real trunk? 😉 I trust that you considered the new Lucid Air since you're going electric. It's a beautiful car that has a 500+ mile range/charge, and the pricing is similar. Further, that M-B dealer's $10K mark-up is a deal-breaker...not nice! It's been awhile since I've visited. Hi Steve and welcome back! Lucid was on my radar but it seems there’s a long wait. Also, the 500+ mile range is with the Air Grand Touring model that starts at $139K!! The Air Touring and Air Pure are a bit more “affordable” starting at $95K and $77K respectively…

The only option is solar and the surface area isn't enought to make any meaningful difference on a normal car.

Thank you for your help! I was hardwiring my Genesis G70 and could not find 1 fuse that would instantly turned off. They all would keep it on or not work at all. Then you made so much sense with the A/C fuse. Thanks!
