The smell is very light, very herbaceous smelling (Strong Oregano). Depending which herbs you use it will change the smell. You can always add essential oils and that will assist in changing the fragrance. I add peppermint, tea tree, and lots of lemongrass to make it sweet smelling! You can use the oil daily on your scalp and hair ends or as just a scalp treatment before wash day, or both!

True but you can select some of these ingredients according to the properties you would want your oil to have 😊

Most popular ones are fenegreek, amla, hibiscus, moringa, henna, neem, cloves, rosemary, horsetail, green tea, brahmi, bhringraj. Of these, if you combine 3 powders and 1 or 2 dried herbs you already have a potent oil.

@@aliyaimani23 Thank you so much for watching. Yes, when aloe vera is submerged in salt water, its gel-like structure can absorb sodium and chloride ions from the solution, making it slightly salty. I used Kosher Sea Salt so to not intake iodine. You can just submerged a couple of times in warm water with no added salt. Make sure to subscribe and check out my other content. No offense I still rather this so I can have tension on my hair brush to get my hair as stretched as possible, avoiding direct heat application, and also I hate those damn beads on brushes, it doesn’t work well with my hair. I have a new technique and it’s using a Diane straightening brush to stretch my hair it clamps down on your hair and locks in place like a straightener and it has vents and I then use less passes! Depending on which preservative you use 6months to a year shelf life. If you put it in the fridge or freezer it can extend the life.

I actually avoid a lot of the common brand because of the secret ingredients. Double shampooing is essential, it’s allows for better scalp health. How long since you transitioned to natural?

I feel blessed that I was the only girl from my parents to my aunts kids who never had a perm. I DID damage my hair with the straightener but was able to grow my hair back out to tail bone length in 7 years. I never had a Jheri Curl but I found Lusters SCurl under my parents cabinet (dad had Jheri) and I used that through my growth process.
