We had a "beige" exterior with a "beige" interior '65 6 window sedan with factory A/C, power windows and the rear window defogger. Excellent highway cruiser even without cruise control - very easy to maintain any speed. Just wish it had at least front disc brakes to bring it down from higher speeds! Thanks for the posting

My greatgrandparents had a general store across from brecks mill early 1900 s. Across st from it and right across from that red house. All the lloyd family. I could never find a photo of the store. My father lived in that store early 1932 . That red house with porch was a cousin of my fathers. History goes way back there with my family. Great vid.

We usually go down a week in summer & Thanksgiving week. Have been to the Princess Royal during the off season. Too expensive during the summer. The Olympic size pool was cold in February & March visits. Both hot tubs are outside and closed after summer. Feel like I'm getting raped when places like Coconut Malorie charge a $13 to $18 daily service fee. Rip offs that I now avoid. One day will have to stay at a hotel on the boardwalk.

Looks just like the Holiday inn and Suites on 17th St. Everything from the lobby, to the pools, to the rooms are identical.

My friend in high school his folks had the same car in the 1970's. It was a darker blue but otherwise the same. My aunt also drove a 1961 Chrysler Saratoga sedan for many years. She finally replaced that with a Honda Accord in the early 80's.

If you like the Hilton go check out the Holiday inn and suites on the boardwalk it is identical to the Hilton only differences it's just a Holiday inn and it's on the boardwalk I have a full review of that property if you guys would like to check it out. And congratulations

For the sock in the horn method to work correctly you have to use a couple of pairs ( preferably unusable pairs ) it will work though

I’ve never been to Longwood Gardens. I was planning a birthday gift to myself to visit this May - I should be vaccinated by then. Now I’m not so sure if I it makes sense to go if there is going to be a lot of construction and closed areas. What do you think? I’ll be coming from Texas.

Thank you for posting this. Was great to see a slice of home. Countless trips to Longwood, Chads Ford, and the Brandywine River Museum to see the Wyeth Family paintings when I lived in Baltimore. Nothing quite like it in Seattle. Although a 3 hour ferry to Vancouver Island brings the best of Canada and the Burchard Gardens. To be fair, this is a great post of what you saw, but definitely not a documentary. thx for posting, a great trip down memory lane!
