We did an epic 4 day hike above Convict Lake. We took Convict Creek trail and the hike took us all day. We fought rushing rivers, extreme terrain and bad weather to get there. Got up extra early and made it out for a fishing session in Palos Verdes. I whiped out again walking down the cliffside. I tried a couple new fishing spots in the Palos Verdes and San Pedro area. Primary throwing swimbaits from the rocks. Caught a giant sand bass and missed some more calicos. It was the last trip of the season. We knew we had to get one more trip in. We picked a beautiful lake that we had caught fish at in the past. It was a rough 3 mile hike but it was well worth it. We caught awesome brookies and filled our belly with trout. We fought the setting sun to make it back before we were caught in complete darkness. We did an epic 3 day adventure into the Sierra Nevadas. We hiked up with 50 pound backpacks and the hike was much much worse than we expected. It literally took us almost 7 hours.
