Godzilla SP is a pretty good show even if it's not for everyone. I never tried to understand all of the science stuff, but the science doesn't really take away from tone and atmosphere the story builds up by the end. Godzilla, the kaijus, and the red dust come from an alternate dimension which human have been accessing/manipulating through the red dust even if unintentionally. The time travel is aspect is done by send information back in time, which was shown to be possible early in the series with archetypes, how that works I don't really know but it is a sci Fi show so stuff doesn't also have to be fully explained.

Singular point was fun, my main issue was the pacing got tied down in trying to explain the Sci-Fi over explaining its science, not that the science was bad or complex, it just didn’t need to be explained as thoroughly as it was in the show. I say that but one of the major plot points was the characters figuring out the science, so eh, shits weird

I didn’t ignore it… I just watched it, became mad confused, didn’t know what the hell happened, and then just left the series alone. Honestly in some communities, the only reason why people “like” this anime is because it “makes Godzilla OP so he soloes fiction hurrdurr” lmao

I liked everything about it except the fact that it was a piece of Godzilla media. the redesigned forms of Godzilla in the show looked like trash, in my opinion, and I think that particular monster just would have hit better if it were an original kaiju without being a new Godzilla look

While I was not a fan of the monster designs, the reason I never watched was because it was on Netflix. As in.. “Oh, you like this show? Cancelled. You like this other show? cancelled! What’s this, a movie that sexualize live children? Come on in!” Though such a shame it wasn’t popular. An anime series is the perfect way to have a Showa/Heisei series without the risk of losing live actors, costs of realistic looking monsters and locations, and a 2-3 year wait for each installment.

I understood it all decently well, that's what pissed me off the most. I understood all the dumb stupid bullshit that goes half-explained for the sake of watching to shitlords LITERALLY TEXT TOO FAST in the middle of the kaiju stuff. The kaiju abilities are all cool until they explain them. How, at all, for any reason, would you figure out that Anguirus can intelligently manipulate the probability of things that hits its shell? Why doesn't the damn shell just vibrate and harden? Keep it simple, stupid.
