Yes, that's the plan if you sack ot. But there are times where you don't have grade 3 in hand so if you can't go for lethal personally I like to put triggers (minus ot) on the other row rear not Radylina

@vanityezel4148 yes, of course. I won't deny that is the "best case scenario" that won't always come up. I just like the funny idea of feeding the pet dragon godly amounts of fuel and watch it go brrr.

Yeah. The dual nation cards are really there in place of "well we need some superior call that doesn't cost soul (Caribre) so hopefully something better will get revealed soon." Even then, the promo'll take a while to come to English so we'll see.

@@ZEDEX252 Fav, at least according to the fandom I got everything so it’s other cards loosely supported it. Gramgrace I think there was two, the grade 1 recycler and something else. I didn’t run her because A, I forgot she existed at the time of recording and B, when I did remember her I thought she costed soul ( she doesn’t but I never remember that part 😂)

@ well I also didn’t run Squad who I did remember is because it only works when you don’t ride, and I do intend to ride every turn with the new Favrneel thanks to Rhiengold’s skill + persona ride = 20k to front row

Both are good upgrades but favrneel actually still gets you to play the original while gramgrace you can literally just abandon the og lol

Played up to floor 90 so far, the game in my opinion is good but has areas in the story where it could've been done better

@@reginaldeasley Not even close. I play video games on the channel because I like to play them more than vanguard, they're easier to edit and more fun to actually record. Holding over for Dear Days 2 is not even close, at best holding me over for the game I've looked forward to the most over the last few years, Inazuma Eleven Victory Road (espcially considering I only bought og Dear Days for views and to play it ONCE with my friend). The only reason vanguard is the main content is because it's easier to record and more consistent since it's always updated, which is why from time to time I'll try to ween off of it with other games (Thera, Battle Spirits Saga, etc)

Personally just EB3 ones since they technically make a marker for one cost cheaper

Well as a Rorowa player, and as an offensive player, I do like Virdescent and OG more but I don't think that's reason to not like the new one. I still think the new one is good, just I personally prefer the older ones because they fit my personal style

You can call rears but only those of your vanguard's grade, which until you ride the grade 10 is 0, so you can call triggers but that's about it

Based on Glory, it'll keep og's act skill, probably gain power from the bound order, and maybe a rearguard vermillion on attack effect

@ you’re probably right about keeping its original act skill but I can’t see the vermillion rearguard effect being a thing because Glory has a way to bring out regular Maelstrom due to the original effect. Unless they just allow us to call Vermillion onto the board, aside from that, everything you said I agree with.

Secondly, I mean it’s like you said, Favrneel had a harder time before grade 3 (though at least during the matches as the side playing it it felt like it was in full control, there was really no worry) which is why I specifically had Gramgrace go second in game 2 so A, it would have the first attack but B, it would have the extra critical on first grade 3 which would hopefully apply enough pressure for lethal. After having the previous game with Gramgrace I figured hand was the problem so I added the draws and just aggro my way through, especially because I knew and word for word “Gramgrace cannot outstall Favrneel”. Favrneel is incredibly easy to use. If you don’t hit Rheingold it loses power but you don’t need it to win, it just makes it easier. Gramgrace really wants superior calls but a lot of them cost soul which you obviously want for Gramgrace’s skill and the triple drive.

@@vanityezel4148 Yeah Favrneel is definitely one of those snowball decks you can't outlast it's real nasty if prolonged especially with two extra crit vanguard attacks with like 33k power hitting him fast and hard is the only way. Hopefully gramgrace finds a superior call partner to help fill the board and deck fin which only relies on counter blasts. What are your thoughts on the keter pile being used now that counterblasts aren't a problem would that help?

@@liberleo1384 Well I mean it in the way old Gramgrace could have definitely survived due to it's hand, but because this version is more aggressive it didn't have the cards to stall. Personally I don't use the Keter pile with any deck except for the deck I believe it was intended for, which is Hamveld due to it's reliance on orders and the time they came out. For now I'll probably use the dual nation grade 2's that superior call

@@vanityezel4148 Ah that's fair would be interesting to see og gramgrace vs new gramgrace actually is the hand size worth the critical or not. Ah i see that makes sense in that case if your focusing on associated cards.

@@Malengyim I’m not a fan of using control/stall decks. It’s fun playing against them but boring to use them so I don’t build them. If it’s something you like then go for it

@@Malengyim oh, you meant hostage as in the order, not an actual control build. Well in that case you can but I wouldn’t recommend it as you’ll have to use 6 energy to restand a column and only get 4 attacks out of it, and to if you wanted to do 5 attacks while doing the column stand you’ll need 9 energy. It’s a niche plan and may sometimes be great for the scenario but it’s definitely hard to pull off consistently you know what I mean

Yeah I'm not doing that cause to even us Virdescent you have to run og, and the best to handle both of those is run the superior ride grade 1 and out og in ride deck, so assuming we want consistency that's somewhere between 6-12 card slots dedicated to those which the deck can fit but makes it feel cloggy, compared to Nirvana which is cloggy but doesn't feel that way which is why I did it with Nirvana

@@MyrtDFY I mean you could still build a deck around them. None of new Rorowa's cards specifically require him so you can run the new Momoke and order in the version with Virdescent and OG. Personally that's what I would do just cause I like Virdescent more

Thanks. Gramgrace kind of had an easy time here but that's because I got calls right with when I would see Persona's and damage triggers. Honestly I miss the draw skill old gramgrace has so I would recommend draws considering the front row gets good power anyway. As for over, Valnaught. If you're vanguard already has double crit and so does back center and flip it you've got 3 attacks with double crit, 2 having 1million power. Ride Line: You can go OG Alden but I personally have bad experiences with it so I'd rather stick to Gramgraces generic line.

@vanityezel4148 Yeah the hand size with og gramgrace were insane in a good game getting 10 in han wouldn't be difficult but now it would make sense to use draw triggers now to make up its loss, i mainly liked it cause it made Ffernbaels effect essentially free but now you absolutely need a card in hand to get triple drive. Valnaought sounds good having 5 hard hitting attacks is always nice so can't complain there. As for the rideline I haven't used og Alden personally but i know it's effects,having the searches would be nice so it'll probably be the most used though personally I like the blaster rideline which is what I used on dear days, is it still a good choice with the new gramgrace for early board control and twin drive?

@@liberleo1384 Yeah, go for the Blaster line. I knew there was one I couldn't remember. The deck has a lot of free CB and early game twin drive (again helping with the hand problem), is nice

You can but I typically use up too much CB to use her persona ride ability and the soul part always makes me worried in the early game cause what if I have all triggers and persona rides (has happened before) and I need to call down rears to hit the six soul, espically because in terms of soul Valshibeen breaks even with the ride line. You can run her but personally I wouldn't

Thank you, glad you enjoy my videos. The upgrades are super agree. I do also wish Gramgrace had the ability to persona ride from the old one at least but I guess they wanted to keep the weird parralel that I was talking about. Either way, both are super cool and I was on the fence about Dear Days 2, and I still am but this definitely swung me in its favor.

Ironic that gramgrace probably would have appreciated the 7 persona ride targets more than favrneel but favrneel's the one who gets it cuz Hrodis still works with new Fav.

There should be a link in the description. All you have to do is get steam and then buy the game Tabletop Simulator for 10 or 20 bucks and you’ll be good. My personal opinion is yeah, newbies can get started with this but I think was self taught with 3 trial decks and 20 episodes of the anime back in 2014 😂

That I don’t think you’d be able to do so because you didn’t have 20 at the time of activation but I could be wrong. I recommend getting a second opinion
