'eluding in a vehicle and obstructing officers'.- I highly doubt this was the case.

Just a FYI, if anyone fights back or disarms a officer, you are putting your life in danger. In general the police has a tactical response to all traffic stops.

The officers are absolutely 100% justified, and George Trevino is absolutely 100% to blame. The officer told Trevino that he was under arrest for a warrant out of Evans, and the officer has every legal right to put hands on Trevino and take him into custody. If people haven't noticed, despite all of the ridiculous gun laws the criminals aren't abiding by them and are routinely armed. The officer(s) are not going to give Trevino the opportunity to reach back into his car in order to possibly obtain a weapon or try to escape and drive away, and the officers are also at risk due to his passenger, who could be armed and a threat. Trevino refused to comply and kept trying to pull away, and Trevino made his pathetic statement "Let go of me dog" as he continued to resist. Officers are not required to use equal force to a threat and are legally allowed to escalate the force in order to protect themselves, the public and effect the arrest, so the use of a taser is warranted and justified. Despite being tased, Trevino continued to resist and pulled the taser away from the officer and disarmed him, which then warranted the officer to escalate the force even higher, and punching Trevino is absolutely justified in an attempt to regain control of the taser of to stop Trevino from using it. Sadly, our justice system fails to punish this kind of behavior and resisting arrest like Trevino demonstrated, but instead it typically rewards this behavior monetarily with frivolous lawsuits that are absolutely reprehensible. Criminals like Trevino know this, and it's quite apparent that Trevino is deliberately provoking the situation as seen and heard at minute 3:46 of the video when he calmly tells a bystander, "record this please" as he dramatically cries out for the sake of the video while still resisting arrest. In a nutshell, none of this would have happened if Trevino had complied when told he was under arrest, it's that simple. Trevino is a 50-year-old child who has no respect for the law, as he cannot be called a man based on his actions. If society wants to see this sort of thing stop, then respect the law, stop paying criminals for their unlawful behavior and sentence people like George Trevino to 5 - 10 years in the state penitentiary for resisting arrest.

So much for the letter to the community about police brutality since Memphis. Is punching a suspect in the head taught in the police academy as use of force? 🤔
