Rory Pike was born in Kingston Jamaica, where he spent most of his earlier years in a place known as the concrete jungle. These were very humble beginnings for him, where he grew up in a multi family home ( tenement yard) , with his grandmother as his main overseer. Rory learnt the value of hard work at a very young age, as he watched his grandmother worked three jobs, or more at times, just to take care of the household. He later got to spend some time with his aunties, and eventually he got to live with his mother, Nadine. Rory’s love for music began at a very early age. Growing up, he was always listening to everything, from the old American classics such as, “when a man loves a woman”, to the versatile reggae hits like “redemption songs”. His musical influences includes Bob Marley, Berres Hammond, bounty Killa, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, billy Joel, Elton John, biggie smalls and jay Z, just to name a few.
