Photopea: Changing and modifying backgrounds behind Raster Masks
Your video was helpful, but still didn't work, at first. I reduced the fill to 0%, as mentioned, but still saw the white-box background on my logo. I tried "Section" under frame in the right column and that was encouraging, but exported as a spec. I also ungrouped my logo image bc that was causing a background also. It wasn't until I ungrouped my logo with frame only, set fill to 0%, as in your video, and "closed the eyeball" in fill, and exported as png at 4x for clarity that it finally worked. Whew!
So you had a white filled box or background in your logo itself that was causing a problem with transparency? Was that the case? Let me know if there is anything I missed or needs to be made more clear in the video. Also, thank you for the tip about closing the eyeball (on the frame) instead of lowering the opacity to 0 - it's faster and more accurate.
@@homastudio45 Yes, a white box background remained on logo even after reducing fill to 0%. It wasn’t until I did BOTH reducing fill to 0% AND closing the eyeball that it worked. Using one without the other did not work. (A white box was not a part of the logo. The logo is an ellipse with lettering in the center.)
@@heartnsoul3357 You should only have to do one or the other (eyeball or opacity) for fill on the frame. Not sure why both. You can always share the link of your Figma file with me (I can duplicate it and look at it). You can share it here or send it to rich@homastudio.com
thank you
very good. keep it up. very well and clearly explained.
thanks
Damn man, thank you a lot for this, it was so helpful. Keep it up!
Note: Microsoft provides a free extension called "HEIF Image Extensions" that allows you to open .HEIC files. To install it: 1. Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows computer. 2. Search for "HEIF Image Extensions" and install it. 3. Once installed, you should be able to view .HEIC files using the Windows Photos app or any other application that supports this format. Theres an app reload button on the top right of wherever you are editing a file, it is the refresh symbol. No need to go to a different tab
So cool that you offer us to just enter you as a Teacher resource :D
This helped get me set up, thanks!!!
I've been considering transferring my sqlite3 database to MySQL for a long time, and it seemed like it would be very difficult, until I found your videos. Thank you for the clear, step-by-step instructions. I am going to have a much easier time now.

Thank you! great video series! Keep up the good work.

Twig\Error\RuntimeError: An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("PhpMyAdmin\Error\Error::relPath(): Argument #1 ($path) must be of type string, Twig\Environment given, called in /home/demo/.pma-demo/master-config/src/Error/Error.php on line 414").
This series helped me a TON and was exactly what I needed to get started on a project I've been wanting to get underway. Thank you so much for making it and making it so well!
It is very clear! Thank you!
hahaha sorry i was the one who put the racist input lol
tks, this is exate i was need!
Thanks, exactly what I need!
Wow that was amazing, so simple yet so powerful.... thank you so much 🙏
Thanks for the video
Ell, Eleven is not really #3, #3 is zero, zero, one, one in a 4 bit system, never heard anyone saying eleven referring to a binary 3
It was a quick informal lesson for an Intro GenEd class, not for CS majors. You’re correct I should have said zero zero one one for 3, not eleven.
Congratulations! Thanks!!!😉
Excellent teaching, thank you very much!
Thank you for this!
The classes are excellent, teaching 1000! Thank you very much.
Thank you!
Tkanks a lot! 😉
Thanks! Waiting for the next videos!! Looking forward to seeing how to code the flask components🙂
Thank you. Looking forward to seeing how to code the flask components
Is it possible to do turtlename.newfunction() for when working with multiple turtle which use the same function?
Thank you! This helps me a lot!
Excellent!!! Thank you for the excellent class! Can you create one about publishing a python app to pythonanywhere?
I'm starting a new playlist using Flask, MySQL with PythonAnywhere
@@homastudio45 thanks a lot!
Yeah but isn't it a bad practice to use breaks to exit loops? Isn't the "correct" way setting up a exit condition within the loop (like int i < 3) that exits you instead?
I agree, its more efficient to use a while loop and a condition which I mention near at the end of the video. For this video, I was just introducing how the break works, but necessarily the best or only option.
Can you make a video how to connect database it to your webapp
That was very helpful for me to get my head around the concept of raster masks!
This was exactly what I was looking for. Perfectly explained. Thank you so much!
I am getting ERROR 2026 (HY000): SSL connection error: unknown error number. Any Idea how to resolve this?
thanks. useful series.
Thanks for making this video! You helped me to finally understand some things.
Thank you man
Helped a ton!! Thanks mahn
This video has been insanely helpful! For some reason I couldn't wrap my head around loops and why everything I tried wasn't working! (it's always the simplest answer but you explained the need for indentation after and wow, thank you SO SO much!)
Thanks. I'm glad it was helpful. I haven't uploaded here for a while, but I do teach courses regularly (in many areas) and have them posted at my @homawccc channel - See csc121 Programming 1 playlist for Spring 2023.for Python.
How to use eyedropper for colour cast
After choosing a color, the Color Picker window comes up. Just move your cursor away from the color mixer area in the window on to your image (it will show a + icon instead of an eyedropper) to sample any color from the image. If you want to actually colorize something, that would be different - see the colorizing videos with Marilyn and the barn.
This is the most well explained tutorial . Thank you.
well explained and easy to follow. Thank you.
Ty so much for this tutorials!
