Really enjoyed your content, Like ✅ Subscribe ✅ thanks for sharing your adventures 🤙🏽
Bravo !!!
Great job. Really enjoyed this. My wife and I are registered for the 2025 event. Cheers, Paul
Thanks Paul. You'll have a blast, enjoy dancing over the rocks!
Amazing job! And incredible journey, congrats!!
Super performance and great video!
Congratulations for your TDS. Great memories for my TDS2015. How was to handle the second night? Great video!
@@josepcarrera950 thanks. The second night experience was new to me, I suffered, and was glad to find the micro sleep technique! I’ll use it again ;-)
👏👏👏💪💪👍👍
Nice one mate, I ran it this year too but didn’t really get to take in the views so this was great 👍
@@rickiwynne4785 congrats on your race!
Great job Ben , thanks for posting! I ran this year as well and didn't document it at all. The course got progressively more technical the further round the curcuit we got. I spent a few hours on the 2nd night mentally penning a strongly worded letter of complaint to the race organisers (I haven't followed through on it though 😂) Hope the recovery is going well. Rick 🙏
@@ruckylick7888 Thanks, and good to hear that we were fellow runners! It’s so much time spent ‘in our own heads’, that’s partially why I film, since it keeps my mind a bit occupied and I’d forget much of the race otherwise.
Really enjoyed that. I ran TDS in 2022 and it brought back all the memories and emotions; plus it was nice to relive the route. Cracking effort and well executed.
congrats :))))
Well done mate! That was a spicy one. Nice to know I wasn’t the only one out there gutting it out. I watched grown men crying on the climb out of Bourg😮💨
That's amazing! congratulation on the effort. I did it last year and it was horrible with the cold, snow and mud. I liked the correction on the pralognon sector 😅
@@NicolasMeunier as I was running I was thinking of the poor 2023 runners. It’s just amazing what tenacity you all had 🙌
Awesome video, congratulations!! 🎉
Well done Ben - that really gets the brutality of the race across. Amazing
@@bdishman65 thanks, and great to chat with you at the bus stop Bernard. Greetings to the Midlands
Fabulous to watch, amazing Ben congratulations. I'm tired watching!!!!
Great video Ben ! Have you got a business e-mail address I can contact you on ? We are looking for new mountain enthusiasts to join our team !
Enhorabuena Benjamin, objetivo cumplido 👌👏👏👏
Great video! Harder than the UTMB, innit? =)
@@kvErsatz thanks! Definitely a more technical course compared to the UTMB. It’s a battle for each kilometer !
Excellent vlog, really shows ‘the challenge’. Great achievement!
Congratulations from New Zealand. What a great watch, thanks for sharing
Really enjoyed your video, Ben, thank you. Subbed.
Such a stunning and tough race!!
another nice vid, and a great effort !
WOW Congrats.... i had my struggels with the e51.... respect!
Congrats! I finished 4 hrs later. It was nice to see the climb to Eigergletscher during the day.
Je télécharge et on debrief prochainement ! 😉🤩
It was nice to meet you today on my aircraft, ive been watching ur videos and love it!!! Enjoy ur vacations!
@@keban16 Very nice to meet you too, up in the sky, Alexandre. And thanks for the nice comments, glad you enjoyed the videos! Next video about to be released this week :-)
I love your content !!! Keep up the good work !!!!!!!!!
wow I'm sure a hard decision but the right decision. I was out there with you and I think we came into together at Champex-Lac, Hope you get back to the start line one day. cheers
Thanks, and nice to know that we had a similar pace to Champex Lac. I will enter the lottery for next year (the injury is healed now), but my chances are statistically limited in getting a dossard!
Impressive just qualifying for the UTMB...nice video.
Thank you so much for sharing your extraordinarily amazing UTMB experience! You’ve been doing so great and putting your incredible efforts! And you could still make it to film and talk all the way during running, which is amazing! 👍👍😀😀 Bravo!👍👍💪💪
Thanks Jenny. I find it nice to film while racing, as it tends to take me out of the moment and find a good thing to share with the camera. All the best
Thank you for sharing. Congratulations with your course and the difficult decision to quit. Well done
So sorry for you. Part of the game though. Good luck with recovery.
Being Honest to self and hearing that voice is the hardest thing when there is a goal in front. Very good decision, may be a bit late but it was wise that you called it a day at the Champex Lac rather than up in the mountains with no connectivity. Recover well .
Tant pis pour cette fois ! Il y aura d’autres opportunités pour sûr ! Superbe vidéo en tous cas !
Good job ben and great video !!! I was on the 110k...very rocky...but so beautiful
Thanks very much Gilles. The 110km is a HUGE achievement on that terrain, nice work!
Great Work for both video and Race result !
Hey Ben - well done on a great race and thanks for putting out this video. I'm running the X-Traversée this year and was wondering if you had any tips or guidance on things you'd do differently a second time around? Many thanks!
Hi Edward, thanks for your support. Great to hear that you will taste this adventure this year. Preparation in the mountains is recommended since the altitude at a few passes is quite high and two of the descents are long and the quads could easily suffer. The ‘wall’ section could be a place to overtake if you have the energy, but I struggled there (like most) and got overtaken by some. The atmosphere, good food and amazing views should carry you through to Verbier!
@@BenNeedsMountains Many thanks for getting back to me, and for the advice. Best of luck with your next adventure!
Cool!
Hey Ben, i see you done the swiss peaks 100 aswell, I am pondering doing one or the other and wondered if youd care to share what you thought the better of the two? Thanks mate
HI Steve, tough question, as these are two magnificent events, and you can't choose wrong really. If you need running stones for a UTMB event later, then you'll only get that from the X-Traversee. I would say views are slightly better there too (running above a glacier!). Food is better on the Swiss Peaks, and finishing by lake Geneva is really cool, unless you finish in the middle of the night in the rain with no one around as I did (lol). Basically, flip a coin and have an unforgettable ride :-)
Bravo belle vidéo 👍👏👏👏❤
Merci Yves, content que vous avez eu du plaisir (a nous voir souffrir ;-) )
Great video 👍 I was far behind you so I did the Col de Susanfe in the rain 🌧
Great video! Impressive race!
Congrats on a great race and for filming all along the way! I finished 5 hours later. Nice to see how some of these sections look like during the day. On the other hand, it must have been quite challenging to do the final descent from the Pas de Lovenex at night!
Thanks! I would also have liked to see the big descent in daylight, although with the rain maybe the experience would have been similar 😆
splendide Ben, and as one of those 'behind in the mud', nice to see what the trail was like for those who got over le Col de Susanfe before the storm hit ! 😉
Thanks Marc. The weather played a big role that day. Congrats on your race!
Well done Ben, you really captured the event.
Thanks! It was an amazing setting, and lovely volunteers
Well done! I finished the X-Alpine and it was nice to see some section on your video that I couldn't see during the night on my race.
Wonderful to see it all back. That was one unforgettable day, for me, and by the looks of it for you.
Definitely unforgettable Peter, an amazing string of valleys connected by beautiful trails under a great meteo
Great first song
