Star Wars is so expensive now that it has become unobtainable for a customer to purchase an entire wave. I mean 50 bucks for a small sized set is absurd. I thought the Tantive 4 hallway was overpriced when it came out but it makes that look like a bargain.

The Droid builder pack is not overpriced. It's actually somewhat underpriced if you go by price per piece, but Lego Star wars fans don't like that set so it's overpriced.
