Nicki I’m 64 and maybe old school and still put foundation on first.. I put it over my eyelids and lips too. I didn’t realise you can put eye makeup on with out any foundation but using primer. Do you wear foundation at all? Can you show how we should put it on please? I haven’t done it with a brush or sponge either. Thankyou.

This is so helpful as someone who has struggled with changes to my eyes due to ageing. I've got my mums max factor eyeshadow from the 50's! Its not off! I think its maybe in the last 12 or 15yrs that makeup has started to go off...

Thank you Nicki. 😍If anyone is interested I find L’Oreal Double Extend Mascara is the best sweat proof. One side of the tube is a primer and the second side is rich mascara. Stila is a great pencil eyeliner ….I use a dark brown. Don’t forget the sunscreen I suggest Elta MD tinted face sunscreen it’s 100% mineral with no chemicals.

Keep the Hard Candy compact and use it for something else. I am in my 70's and have scars from pimple and now dark spots. Due to sensitive skin and dyes allergies, I can only use a dermatologist approve make up. Here is the USA, most all cosmetics brands have dyes. Also, due to an eye disease the medication I have to use darkens my eye lids and if using a tan or bronze eye shadow, it looks like I have a black eye. So wondering from your experience, what eye shadow could I use? You should concern yourself lucky that you have good skin and can use most any kind of makeup.

I also have an wye-pencil that goes back to when I was in Germany, I was 20, now 46 and an eye pencil that I have sporadically used as lip pencil because of the colour that was my mum's when she was in her 20's, now she's 71 LOL. Her pencil is Rimmel, I can tell you there is nothing wrong with the way it 'writes' that tells you about its quality!

oh no, your conversations in italian are actually the highlight of your vlogs! I learned so much from watching you guys and Luca & Sara. I like your make up & cooking videos too. I might try apricot coloured eyeshadow, even though I’m a light olive skinned brunette! Pinks don’t seem to look good. Browns are too dark…

🌄, Nicki. good morning @ least I'm trusting it will be. It is not quite dawn. I did as usual not check power on my phone. Still sleepy I guess. Anyway, my first comment disappeared when my phone shut down. That is annoying. When I do wear mascara, I enjoy sometimes wearing different colors of mascara. Because my eye color is aqua marine, the different colored mascara creates a different hue . I like Dior mascara because it is waterproof. Their blue make my eyes look green. Green mascara make my eyes look mostly blue. I don't often paint with green mascara. I do not use eyeliner either. I have a ridiculous amount of Estee Lauder paint boxes. In North America they offer an amazing Christmas time promotion with the newest trends in one box. It is excellent quality. I don't know what they offer in Europe 🌍. But I can recommend it. Because yesterday was such a busy day for me I didn't get to viewing your offering until this very early morning. It's friendly. Thanks. I am looking forward to seeing your dad enjoy your new home.❤

Haahaaa YES! I appeared on a show called Style Challenge about 30 years ago......Daniel Sandler did my make-up. He was astounded that I still had my Miners brown eyeshadow pot.....the company had been closed for about 20 years.....I think I still have it🤣😂🤣😂 Sandi xxx
