The way I handle map move is: sometimes my armies can move more than one province, and those days are like Christmas.

So do you get +1 pen for every 2 levels over the requirement and +1, or is it +1 for every multiplicative of the requirement over +1 for rounding?

Very admirable work but what I like about Dom 5 is specifically it's somewhat unbalanced nature (even if the devs themselves adjust things too) Quality of life like showing freespawn and co is tip top tier though.

Nice series ! Been trying to make ma man work and came to similar conclusions, heavy scales is a must. Chassis wise you skipped over the poor demilich, who is often a good option and cheap (if you don't take too many paths), has enough slots, is immortal and is teleportable. Later on a wind of death suicide(or even returning) teleport might save your day. Bless wise, besides the usual resistances, taking precision might be really good too. Evocation and other targeted spells are often your best and only answer to problems, and because of the fatigue spellsinger communion dropout, you have significant less lasting power than other communion nations in quantity of spells so turning up the quality is nice. Ma Man also has a trouble getting to the air path boosters(and storm staffs), getting there via rings is a bit of a gamble of gem income and of course much slower.

Gift of Nature bounty income was really funny to see. Like we talked about post game. I think, you were in the lead before that crazy spell :P but yeah that would have been an instant coalition were we to actually keep playing, would you have prevailed? Idk would have been interesting to see. we were all pretty tired though, I don't know if the viewer know, but we kept this game ongoing with a 24 timer and that was driving us all nuts at the end and I think many of us made quite a few mistakes out of being unfocused and tired ahah. Pretty nice game! work on that scout network if only for the viewers in future games :P 100% would do so again ;)

ahah kirby's move I didn't catch at the time lol. made me laugh a lot It's really a shame you don't have a bigger scouts network though you were trying to get more monks out. You missed a few battles and a few funny raiding shenanigans between ind and van these turns IIRC I'll add that as turns are getting quite huge, this format is probably better by now. the long ones with lots of stuff happening draw in a fair bit early on, but this format where you limite yourself in turns count also tends to make you take more time to talk about different stuff on your turns and all. So it's pretty great

Argh so sad you only had eyes on the battles near the throne, that were a bit of a sad display on my side. :P this was a loss, the battle report and the battle replay were different. but it could have been going either way as the battle replay showed. Pretty sad you didn't saw the battles near ctis those were as epic as this one. Albeit having not regen on this army really made a number on me. I couldn't get a N caster in time. I think they were all north. the Sole reasons I started recruiting the jann guard was for my bless had Shock resist but the bless being far caster blood surge reinvig was pure mage bless. but it indeed hurts a fair bit. and the throne of fire did give some stats, I don't think I had the throne or water yet, or maybe since a turn? too fuzy in my memory I'm still standing by my view that for their price, the Jann guards are a trap. If only due to iron vulnerability. they are very underwhelming. Still really sad you missed the enslavement of the two demon Lord on the turn 86! that was one hell of a nice battle. and really gave me tools I was lacking.

the core of na'ba forces are the mages not the troops, those are just bodies. jinnies be it marid sultan malikah or jinns have spirit sight build-in. this means their precision is not affected. Van mages don't have it. It isn't usefull in this battle, as it's in the end just reinforcements being caught

In all honesty the episodes of more than 30 minutes are really nice, not sure if everybody is the same but it's clearly something I enjoy :)

Rabbit foot charms (which gives twist fate) also works very well against both flames from the sky and murdering winter. (it only works once per turn though, so if a mage is hit twice in the same turn he will likely die) If you got 10 or better fire resistance in your bless shrouds of the battel saint also works against flames from the sky, and likewise for 5 or better cold resistance against murdering winter.

Veric could give you 5 vine ogres per turn and you are wasting his time summoning vine men? What a waste... Makes me wonder if you did not know that ivy lord also increase the number of vine ogres?

I can't help but wonder why on earth ulm would cast army of gold instead of army of lead??

I'm not entirely certain on Ind either. I think you normally go like some stat bless, nothing to crazy, and then try and mass the different non-capital units you can get depending on terrain. Not an expert though, but I do want to try them out in a multi-player game.
