When weighing up the pros against the often significant cost to human health, the benefits are clear.
What do we think about changing the sanding disk in between different types of materials? Does sanding granite and the particulates remaining on the disk have an effect on sanding, quartz etc.?

What about the opportunity to grind acrylics? In this case, there would be more removal of the surface material - perhaps .020" - .030" - and it would be required to have a polishing phase after the removal of the material to bring the surface back to 'smooth and glossy' with high optics. What concerns me is a realignment of the molecular structure along the intersection of the 'passes' as the grinding progresses. Thanks for your consideration. Steve
I'm looking into automated sanding for my process right now! Can it scan the object as it sands it to look for a color change indicating that sufficient material has been removed?
