AspectAvy is on a mission to save lives by making avalanche safety simple.
Skiing in the backcountry is inherently dangerous. To make the right decision every day, every time, it takes years of experience and advanced training. The terrain and variables are simply too complex and varied.
At AspectAvy, we want to provide a tool that can be used alongside the proper training that simplifies the process and helps backcountry users understand and lower their risk. We should all be able to confidently navigate avalanche terrain, have fun, and come home safely.

Thank you for having me! Hope you all have an amazing ski season this year. 👊🏼👊🏼
Speaking of minefields, u da bomb jeff
Where does that 22 hours number come from? For example, Teton SAR has a podcast series, and all of the ones I’ve listened to, response time was 1-5 hours. Obviously not a random data set. So, what I mean is, what data set is this from? What geographic area? What times of year? Etc. Thanks.
So you’re omitting the grid search completely?
Jeff this is so sick dude. Cool videos
Ugh I hate old snow. Tell me about it. I wish there was something we could do!
Where in Colorado is this?
Outside of Crested Butte
What kind of skis you are using ?

Exactly. It was super dangerous to be riding anywhere on that peak at considerable danger with an old snow problem.
