My family had a Spanish exchange student staying with us from September to December 2022. We introduced her and her friends to the game of hurling. Last year, she and her mother did a tour of Ireland and she came back to spend a week with us when her mother went back to Spain, and before her mother left, we took them to Croke Park to watch this match. They really enjoyed it!

American here, never heard of hurling before today. My wife was reading a novel and the protagonist's favorite sport is hurling, so we checked it out. What a great game. Fantastic athleticism and endurance, and the game flows non-stop. I'll definitely watch whenever I get a chance.
