I really wanted to see Mckenzie and alyssa T_T

I saw this last week with my son’s high school band at Gershwin theater as part of our trip for the band to play at the St Patrick’s Day parade. It was my first time seeing this and I was taken aback when the crowd erupted in applause when the curtains were lifted. 😅 I thought to myself I oh I’m surrounded by fanatics! I really enjoyed it.

The best Fiyero IMO. The tone, the timbre and the physicality are just unbeatable.

Sooooooooo excited to be seeing Mary Kate on her FIRST NIGHT as the next FULLTIME Elphaba on 3/5!!!!

Sounds like one of the strongest American fiyeros, my favourite is Oliver thompsett, unbeatable

Saw her in last Thursday’s performance (my first time seeing Wicked.) At first I was slightly concerned when I found out that such a major role would be played by “just” a standby, but she very quickly proved I had nothing to worry about… she was phenomenal! And McKenzie was absolutely perfect as Glinda.

He is just perfect.

I am obsessed with his note choice on 3:48, oh my God I’m repeating this one sequence for the next 12 minutes thankssss

IMHO the Broadway Orchestra has been on the decline over the past... 12 years? But from 7:24 on they sound incredible, ESPECIALLY those horns 🥵

I am such a fan of Jordan Donica. He's a great actor and singer and a really nice guy. I saw him in Camelot in July. Swooooonn... He added dimensions to Lancelot that have never been seen. You could feel it in his singing. OK, I'll admit. It was kinda different when he ripped off his jacket and jumped into bed with Gueneverre (that's all you see). Musicals have really evolved. Amazing. I'm so happy for this recording. I found a copy of the libretto and follow along while I listen. I'm hoping to find the score, too. The orchestration is just incredible. I think it was written for two keyboard synthesizers as well as orchestra. Could be interesting to see if I can read that while listening to this, too. It's so funny. I was never a fan until I started listening to Jordan. Now I am hooked. What a great show!
