I decorated my porch for fall, but also I placed a St. Benedict cross on my front door and a flag banner with Jesus name on it, outside my porch. Both were blessed with epiphany water. I watched on my camera and saw some parents, all in black clothing pass by my house, and didn't let their kids come to the door. Last year, when I gave out candy I didn't do this. I just blessed my porch. I had all sort of kids and teens dress up in horrible outfits. This year, those passed my house and only the kids with no horror outfits came to the door. I'm glad God put the desire in me to put the St. Benedict cross up. I feel more at peace now. God bless!
