TRUMP Boat Parade - Chincoteague Island, VA 8/31/2024
We took a pontoon tour to see the dolphins and island ponies. On the way out we saw a bunch of boats with Trump flags anchored near an island.
On the way back in, the boats were on the move. This is a clip of a bunch of them. I didn't think to count, but if I were to guess - there were close to 100 boats.

Lifetime kayak seat upgrade...say NOOOOO to stadium seat!

A popular seat upgrade for the Lifetime Tioga/Tamarack is the Ozark Trail stadium seat. In my experience, a stadium type seat puts your center of gravity too high and causes stability issues. See what I did instead. Props to #Joe Simpson, #Secondhandcanoe and others for giving me the idea to pursue option#2.

Easy - Simple Green!!! Spray on, wipe off !! No - it's not just dirt. I had been washed with Meguiar's Gold Class car wash, and it didn't come off.
Rocky's Eazy Roller grommet removal

If you have to replace your solar cover that has Rocky's Eazy Roller grommets, you will have to remove the grommets from the old cover to re-use them. Rocky's doesn't have a video for this because they want you to order new grommets. This is a quick video of how incredibly easy it is to remove the grommets. Need: two screwdrivers.

Have you got the chance to try it on the water yet?
Yes. Much more stable than with the stadium seat. I can reach into the water to catch and release fish as well as rock the boat hard with no concern. I did experience lower back pain when I got out of the boat (about 4 hrs fishing), but none while in it. I also took a shorter trip (about 2 hrs) and very little pain when I got out. The padding on the seat is excellent, so I think the pain may be related to the angle of the seat...so I may have to mess with that a bit.
