HI Johnny. What is the price for a full day trip to the Coral Garden and what is the name of this company that run the excursion ?
Just south of the old estate of tycoon Henry Kaiser. Who founded the Kaiser shipbuilding, alluminum & steel and healthcare.
Was there many, many times in the mid-80's. Looks the same. No video, some pics, mostly memories. Mahalo, you have brought back teary-eyes 👍ALOHA
Me and two other grunts took our rubber ladies [ air mattresses] from Sandy Beach to Rabbit island in 1975. 45 minute swim. Saw Sharks and Manta Rays. Beautiful.

20 deaths a year is a straight lie lmao
Check it out. Over 100 rescues here a year and near drownings. Google Oahu china wall spitting caves deaths. It’s real I watch the lifeguards come every other day
Does anyone now of somewhere on Oahu I can rent one of these Hobie Tandem Island Kayaks? We own one in Utah and are flying to Hawaii this summer and we really want to take one out on the ocean while we’re there!

How long have you been a fan of mine Adriana Neri???
That takes pretty awesome video
Awesome Chris! 😍🌅
I found a study from the 1960s on the island. It had pictures showing coconut palms on it at the time. I didn't know until several years ago that it actually had rabbits on it until the 1990s. Oddly, the island looks like a rabbit's head poking out of the water with its ears flopped back.
Love KC 💘
My god this was a great concert. I saw it in Mexico I remember when she cancelled all of South America I wa scared she was going to cancel Mexico too, but she didn’t. I was able to see on the day of my bday!! Nov 8!

In 1956, when I was in the 5th grade, Pokai Bay was an Army R & R center. My dad was stationed at Barbers Point NAS some 18 miles south down Farrington Highway. My family spent many wonderful days at Pokai. I would swim out to a floating deck that was anchored about 50 yards off the beach and sun myself. In those days, Wainae was nothing more than what could be called a "village" with a number of very old stores built in the 1920s. There was also a small outdoor (not a drive in) movie theatre too. The school was 1st -12th grades. But it was small and crowded so the two fifth grades were located in a nearby Buddhist church i remember that a small creek ran right behind the church, so at lunch time some of us would gather there and try to catch tadpoles. For a kid, it was truly a wonderful place to live. In 1957, someone started a Little League , and I played for the Makaha Red Sox. We left for California in Jan. 1960. I haven't been back since and don't intend to.
No bra I had anxiety when I seen your drone tilt like that
so where is the tourist who almost died?
If anybody played Test Drive Unlimited 1, this is the real life version of the secret “eden island” that you had to drive through the hidden eden logo to get to. Obviously it doesn’t have roads on it like in the game though.

I grew up on Portlock Road and this surf spot had not houses and was a long walk from our homes. The guys living in Portlock started surfing this spot when we were about 10 years-old in 1947. Being so remote we were the first surfers and had the place to ourselves for a long time. The waves came along the cliffs (we called it the main point) and continued to pass to a small "peninsula" (we called this "the point") where the waves were usually smaller and safer for small kids. As we grew older we started at the Main Point, now China Walls, which is much more challenging and dangerous because getting on a wave you face the cliff and have to slide left quickly to prevent hitting the lava. After we left Hawaii for college on "the mainland", Henry Kaiser built these homes and crowds arrived. We also surfed Sandy Beach and Makapu'u for many years. Times were good.
thx for details
Why it bacame the China wall?
@KieferTobin, Great respect to you Kiefer. As a young kid from the east side my friend introduced me to Portlock Point. We were 15 years old, and I remember my first paddle out there. It was a pretty good sized swell. Neither of us should have been out there probably. We were at that age though of expanding our surfing experience. We'd often push ourselves out into some heavier situations. There were no surf leashes back then except the old homemade kind with surgical tubing, and a line ties around your ankle. Lol, it was awful, you could almost feel your ankle getting cut off by the pull of your board, and you'd have to make a conscious effort to grab the leash with your hands as you were getting mauled by a set or wiped out. The place was absolutely treacherous with the lava shelf, and urchins, and incoming sets trying to get out. Getting in the water was much easier. I remember that wave though, it wasn't like the waves in Town. It was a thicker, much meatier swell with any size. It was quite the experience I'll never forget. When I read your post, it just made me consider what you guys had to go through to surf it and particularly at 10 years old in 1947. The equipment you had then, the super heavy longboards. I can only imagine navigating your way down to the shelf, and picking your way over to the launch point to get in. Then what you must have gone through to get back in after a full day of swimming after your board. That first day for me at Portlock Point, we didn't have leashes, the homemade ones I described we began using a bit later around that time. I'm very glad I learned to surf long before leashes were developed though as it taught me to never depend on them like many surfers today. You had to swim, and swim sometimes some pretty long distances in some crazy conditions to get your board. At the end of a session, you were completely wiped out, surfed out, and just, out! Anyways, from an old surfer to an older surfer, I hope you're well, and still enjoying the incredible memories of a great time gone by. Aloha to you Sir, and God bless you. Mahalo,
I grew up on Pokai bay street and at the age of 6 learned now to swim on that beach
Nice video. Westside beaches are so underrated. Spent 10 days visiting there on the westside with family and at Pokai Bay everyday. Beautiful beaches on that side of the island. Some real hidden gems.
Hence; Cruise! And you, is reported.
You didn't film dumbass-- I see, DOD stuff?
That isn't China wall, it's straight-- aka wall.
What's up with the Chinese music for a Hawaiian place😅😆
thats like saying why do they have taco stands everywhere in the south.... 50% of Oahu is owned by china...
Is this the freaking Tropico soundtrack
Beautiful video !
Mircea Costiniuc thanks. I made this video with a drone I had no idea how to use. I made another video in this spot a year later after lots of practice. In my learning to sail video

Keep on cap! Good fun video. Amazing how many mean crazies comment on YT videos. Though that music evokes wild Cabo 😎🤙
Lovely vid, thanks for sharing. Any chance you can do a pass over the old 'Robin Masters Estate'? I've seen no footage or pics since the old house was torn down.
Where is the Hawaiian music and not this noice? It takes away from Maui's beauty.
