A thing to note in this build is to ALWAYS remember to install the NVME standoff before installing the NVME. It COULD be fine without it, but if the board or drive are of less than stellar quality, that extra stress from that small amount of flex in the NVME can cause either or both parts to not function properly, or at all, or can even break the component.

Good video for a gaming PC. If people wanted a general home office PC, then anything from Haswell mid-range or 1st gen Ryzen running Linux with 16GB RAM and the iGPU will suffice, and those can be had incredibly cheaply now (assuming your SW works on Linux etc)

Go for 3600 cl16 ram. 3200 is too slow and so 2018. The price difference is minimal and your CPU will run with 1800mhz Infinity Fabric instead of 1600! Also very often a 3600 ram can be OCd to 3800, which is even better for 1900 IF for the CPU. Basically you'll have like +5% total system performance with 3600-3800 ram.Good luck!

Titan XP can be had for 170$ these days. As a comparison, it does raster rendering a bit better or worse than a 2080, 3070, 4060, or an RX 6700. No RTX, but price per pixel of traditional rendering you cant get a better deal.

from the perspective of the raw rasterization performance you are absolutely right, i'd rather have an issue with the earlier end of driver support (in comparison to the other videocards you mentioned). sure, there is the possibility of getting 3rd party modded drivers, but it's an big IF and HOW LONG....

With Radeon virtual resolution you can game in 1440p on a 1080p monitor then you can use FSR balance mode and boost fps. Budget gaming is where it's at I see no reason to spend over $350 for a GPU with RSR and FSR.

Second best, the 5700X3D's are great performance per dollar wise since they come in around a hundred bucks cheaper than the 5800X3D, but they're also about ten percent slower in both gaming and productivity performance since they are literally 5800X3D's with stability issues at 5800X3D clock speeds that have been underclocked to where they are stable and rebranded.

@@pierreblack4941 The first card that fully saturated PCIe 3.0 was the 2080ti, the RX6600 has about the same output as a 2060S which has around half the output of a 2080ti. This means that there shouldn't be too much performance loss with this card. I wouldn't put anything faster per lane in this though unless it has a lot of VRAM to compensate for lack of bandwidth. fast 8 and 12GB 4.0 cards are to be avoided on 3.0 PCBs IMO.

Having difficultly putting this into the proper words but this video is just terrible. A ton of pointless information, random mixture of beginner/advanced/expert information, information that's going to be irrelevant in a couple years, and so on. This is 100% not a guide to building a "Good Enough" PC (as said in the video) it's just a rambling mess targeting some mythical guy that doesn't know what a CPU is but already knows off the top of his what CPU's he wants to use with the motherboard he for some reason has on hand. I would honestly not be surprised if this was written entirely by AI tbh.

Thats a good choice of components. 👍 Would just like to say I avoid used motherboards and used PSUs. And that R5 3600 can be a decent paring with the RX6600 to make an even cheaper computer while not losing much performance in games. With that 5600 an RX 6700xt/6750xt or even the 6800 would be also a good fit. And there is always the 5700x3D for that final upgrade on am4.

SO I was supposed to receive the sff but instead received the mini tower 600 G3. I decided to keep it. It's intel 8th I5-8600. There are some things you need to know about the mini tower vs the sff: -there are no onboard usb connector ports, so you won't be able to run a pci-e wifi card as they use a cable which connects to onboard usb. you will have to run a USB dongle. -there are no nvme m.2 ports, so you cannot install an m.2 drive or an m.2 wifi module. -the oem bios behavior could frustrate the bananas out of you. I keep having to clear cmos to get it to boot the os again... maybe something about the OS I'm running is off? edit: apparently this board does have an onboard 11 pin utility connector which can be used for usb.. it's directly to the left of ports sata0 and sata3. my below statement is now deprecated: "here we can see the same issue with the lack of onboard usb connectors due to logic of the system with the front/op usb ports being integrated onto the actual motherboard. this means you cannot use a pce-i wifi card, but you can use an m.2 with the sff." The sff is a much better machine in terms of practicality because you get m.2 slots for your drive and wifi, and you really shouldn't be running more than an rx550 or 6400 on the oem psu anyway, so you don't need extra gpu space. I specifically ordered the sff version because of this, but was sent the tower, which as I mentioned before has no m.2 slots, and consumes almost twice the physical real estate. this is my build: -600 G3 mini tower -I5-8600 + stock cooler -16gb t-force team dark pro (was running 2x8gb visiontek 2400) -rx550 4gb -pci-e to m.2 nvme drive adapter -wd sn270 256gb nvme -wavlink 1300mbps usb wifi antenna The one good thing about the mini tower is that you definitely do have room to run a common dual fan gpu, but if you do this, you will need to upgrade your psu to an aftermarket sff unit. I never had this intention as I was supposed to receive the sff and chose the rx550 as it's still a great performer for under $50 shipped.

I remember this card offering the best price performance back then. Glad to see people still get their money's worth with it.

This was by far the WORST phone I ever had. I wouldn't wish this phone on my worst enemy. There are soooo.... many bugs, glitches, and hardware problems. I seriously went through at least five insurance claims for this piece of you know what. Every single replacement had the same exact problems after two months.

I remember getting this phone and I was told it was to big and screens should not be this big 😂😂 same was said when I got my HTC Titan. Miss these old devices and HTCs UI. It still looks good and I still find it funny how ios and android don't look much different to Windows mobile I still think Windows Phone is the best is I have used and like alot if the tech world has definitely lost this be different look where alot are the same now.

No problems sending files between Windows XP-11 PCs and HD2, you even have to options to do that via usb cable: using ActiveSync and USB MassStorage. Maybe something wrong with author's device. Great device with beautiful interface, laaaarge RAM for its OS, only camera was so-so, but that was in most Windows CE devices that time.

Who says 5" are too small for flagships? This is utter rubbish and absolutely wrong.

Can't believe it's been so long since the first Pi released; feels like it was 2-3 years ago

I had an m7 get ran over in the street. Found it next morning. Half the screen was crushed, half still flawless. STILL WORKED.
