Celtainian Chronicals

Приєднався 5 бер 2023
Welcome to Celtainian Chronicles, a channel dedicated to exploring the legacy of the ancient Celtic people, particularly the Brythonic Celts of Britain. Here, we explore stories, beliefs, and a way of life that defined one of history’s most mysterious cultures. From their connection to the natural world to their reverence for the Otherworld, the Celts viewed life, death, and the unseen realms with a depth and respect that often feels missing in today’s world.
Through engaging storytelling, insightful analysis, and historical exploration, Celtainian Chronicles unearths the core of Celtic culture, asking how these age-old values can be applied to modern life. In each episode, we reflect on the wisdom we’ve lost in the Western world-how our modern culture, with its rush and superficiality, has forgotten the sacred relationship to nature, community, and the spiritual realms that the Celts cherished.

Not Everyone Can Be English: Here’s Why
Britain has no culture. There’s no such thing as an English person. Anyone can be British. You’ve probably heard these claims before, but they couldn’t be further from the truth. In this video, I talk about why these ideas are nonsense and explore the beautiful cultural and genetic heritage of Britain.
From ancient migrations of Neolithic farmers and Indo-Europeans to the rise of the Anglo-Saxons, the genetic story of the British Isles is a deep-rooted continuity. Despite historical changes, the people of Britain-whether English, Scottish, Welsh, or Irish-share a connection to this land stretching back thousands of years.
I also talk about the cultural transformations that created British identity, such as the transition from Paganism to Christianity. Through compromise, adaptation, and resilience, Britain’s unique traditions were forged, blending ancient festivals like Yule and Samhain with Christian practices to create celebrations we still cherish today.
This isn’t about exclusion; it’s about understanding the value of heritage and the sacrifices of our ancestors. If we forget who we are, we risk losing the very identity that makes us unique.

Stop being a bigot and accept infinity immigrants! 😡😡
Great video!
Thanks, George!
I’m American, but my ancestors are English, Irish, and Scottish. I love their culture, I (obviously) speak their language. I believe I am more British than half the people that live there today. They barely speak English, if at all, they hate British culture, they abhor British religions, they have no respect.
He's a quick answer that cuts through all the shit: Only those with English blood can ever be English.
Thank you for not shitting on the Irish, your commentary was very much informed
My Dad's side of the family is Irish! I'd never shit on them 😆
As the English are descended from Anglo-Saxons does this mean the English are part German?
Kind of, but it's a bit more complicated than that. The Anglo-Saxons were a mix of different Germanic tribes, mainly from what is now Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands. So yeah, there’s definitely a Germanic influence in the English gene pool, but it’s just one part of the story.. Over time, the English population has been created by various groups like the Celts, Vikings, and Normans, so it’s not as simple as saying they’re part German. If you look at DNA haplogroups, a lot of English people belong to haplogroups like R1b, which is common across Western Europe, including Britain and Germany. There's also I1 and I2, which are more associated with Germanic and Scandinavian ancestry. So, while there are links, the English identity is a unique blend of many influences over thousands of years.
Christian globalist ideology was the first step to degrading cultures.
You know... I think that I agree.
@@CeltainianChronicals Oh, I'll actually watch the video. I thought it was going to be generic civic nationalist slop...
@samuelknight957 😆 I don't purposely align myself with any idiology, if I'm honest. As I've said in the pinned comment, I believe that every ethnic people and culture should be able to thrive in their own land.
@@CeltainianChronicals I'm an American. Our culture is pretty muddy lol.
@oaktreeholler Yeah, it's definitely different from Britain and the rest of Europe, but it's still fascinating nonetheless.
The origins of the English are very diverse. Angles, Saxons, and Jutes. Sprinkle some Norse and some more Germanic types. Some Took admixture...
American anglosax here guessing the accent. Sheffield?
Almost! I'm from the Northwest of England.
English is poetic but as an ethnic group we are British. And no, I don't mean Blue travel document holders.
I prefer "Anglo-Celtic" over "British". Anglo-Celtic is already an established ethnic identity in Australia and Canada, and the US to a lesser extent. British is our nationality, but our ethnicity is Anglo-Celtic.
Yes! Anglo-Celtic is the way forward 💪
Whenever I try and tell people that natives should have more rights that non-natives in their own country, I get treated like a crazed racist. But it's no problem if that's the way it works in Bhutan or Zimbabwe. Suck and tired of this one-way logic
completely agree with you. It’s frustrating to see the blatant bias and double standards when it comes to the rights of native people. When other countries prioritise their native populations, it’s seen as perfectly acceptable, but when the same idea is applied in Western nations, it's immediately labelled as controversial or even racist. Every people should have the right to preserve their culture and heritage without being judged unfairly. The hypocrisy in this one-way logic is undeniable.
Proud ethnic Anglo-Saxon here, I'm also mixed with Persian. My ancestors lived and ruled in the Indian subcontinent during the British raj, and eventually lost their wealth and couldn't go back home to England. Everyone wants to make me feel bad for being of Anglo descent because "colonists" but nothing will take my English pride away from me. English is my mother tongue, my traditions, lifestyle, personality is English, and my biggest hobby is England's history which is more precious to me than gold, even if I wasn't raised in England, I carry the pride of my ancestors who at one point ruled the world. 🏴
Honestly, the people trying to make you feel guilty for being Anglo-Saxon are the ones with the real problem. Every people should be proud of who they are, and if they’re not, they should focus on contributing something meaningful to their own culture to take pride in. 🙏 💪
Nationalities aren’t even real anyways
Colour isn't real anyways, it's just a spectrum that we arbitrarily define and compartmentalise (pretty much the most innate human trait). Borders aren't real, except non-human animals display consistent territorial behaviours, to the point where placing trackers on wolves leaves us with near perfect physical land boundaries. You are a slave. You are not human, but a replaceable economic unit.
Oh wait, did you mean nationality as opposed to ethnicity?
@@samuelknight957 yeah that’s why I said nationality, but I agree with your comment it’s all man made to make sense of the world

Im an ethnically English American, i am by far more English than the average modern British citizen😂
I'm 100% European, but with my mother's central European blood, you're probably more English than I am. lol
I don’t get what this vid is saying cus 1st it’s on about how we need to keep English filter the same this and that then it goes on about how immigration has effected England through out history saying how it’s changed the culture and everything
Please can you rewrite your paragraph. I can't understand what you're trying to say.
born and bred on these islands and will always be proud of my people, heritage and culture, nothing will make me bend the knee to diversity.

The fact that the term "Anglo-Saxon" is considered racist is out of my sight.
"BanCommies_Fascists", yet you don't understand what the latter stood for. This was always going to happen, and it was the only sane reaction to a globalist Communist state. They lost, and that's why we're here now.
Its disastrous what is happening
All migration is destroying Britain. The Globalist International Clique force and facilitate this, and a certain Austrian painter was right.
Correct. Diversity is White erasure, and it's no accident.
As a True Born Englishman.. ( Read Defoe's poem of the same title)..I Can say I AM FKN ENGLISH ..My blood is Nordic Vikinger..My Ancestors have been here a loooong time .
I’m proper English
🎉 I'm Mercian. I say this now, because YT bans me from saying normal everyday words. It's ridiculous
You Say that as if you didn't betray the Gods of your forefathers taking the Knee to the Carpenter from the middle east. Hail Odin and the i1 tribe the true legacy of your ancestors.
You seem to assume I'm connecting to Norse mythology, but as an English person, Woden would be more relevant than Odin, who is primarily associated with Norse (Viking) culture. However, my heritage connects more strongly with Brythonic Celtic roots rather than Norse mythology, as genetic studies show a much larger Celtic influence in England than Viking ancestry. I prefer to celebrate the history of my Brythonic ancestors rather than adopt a romanticised version of Norse traditions.
I am from Germany, but we face the same issue. Boomers have tried their best to redefine what it means to be of a people and have clinged to a definition that is bound to values, which might work for countries like America that were founded upon certain believes, but is utterly ignogrant of other people's heritages and histories. Furthermore, these values, from country to country seem to be more or less the same. You hear the terms of "european" and "western" values being thrown around. But when it is for these values that one supposedly becomes German or Spanish or British and these values all all appear to be the same, then what sets us apart as independant people of our own? The consequent answer is that we could well all be one people, a European people. And you can see the endeavors of creating the legal frameworks for such a people manifest in political parties like Volt, that campain throughout the entire EU in every memberstate and persue the goal of a more centralised EU. So not only is this Ideology practically set up to have us be forever changed by outside influences, but it also desolves us all from within.
I completely agree with you. Europeans are connected through our values, culture, and DNA, yet we still maintain our own unique identities. It’s pretty obvious when you think about it. The further apart people are geographically, the more culturally and genetically different they tend to be. You can see shared genetic markers across Europe that link populations from Ireland to Poland, yet regional differences remain, like the higher prevalence of Celtic ancestry in Western Europe and Slavic influences in the East. Culturally, we share similar traditions, such as seasonal festivals, folklore, and architectural styles, but each country and region adds its own twist, like the differences between Mediterranean cuisine and Nordic traditions. Of course, there are exceptions, like Australia, South Africa, and even America.
as long as women have a vote your country belongs to whoever strokes their egos the best. good luck europe
I disagree. Alcohol is a greater threat to democracy than women, because when the beer makes a man unable to think, it makes him unable to vote and act.
@@موسى_7 I'd argue that alcohol is embedded in European culture, but it does play a part. My biggest problem is with football. They would rather attack their own brothers because of a game of sport, than recognise that their nation is being overrun. Horrible times we live in.
This is an exceptionally well made video, bravo.
I'm Australian - the son of a Tasmanian wood-cutter and Victorian dairy farmer's daughter whose parents immigrated from England, Ireland, and Scotland. My mother's heritage is particularly interesting, her great-grandparents having fled from Prussia to England before the nation was absolved, and Christians were being put to death. I'm proud of my heritage, which has been touched by the genetic hands of the Celt, Greek, Balkan, Slavic, Baltic, and Germanic peoples, amongst plenty of others.
It's depressing how often you hear about Christianity "stealing" holidays, which were really just adaptations. I'm unsure if I'd call myself religious, but I dislike having my culture diminished the way it is today.
To talk about the whole anti foreign influence and cultural intermingling ideas, I believe everything you say about valuing ourselves is true and I value my "Britishness" as a core part of me, but what exactly does it mean to BE English? Sure there is the idea of being ethnically English or a pure blooded celtic Welshman or to have grown up in an all English household, but arguably a lot if not most people of different ethnic backround I know grow up and assimilate pretty well, especially if they go through education here, even if not perfectly. Putting aside English blood or English culture - is it a bad thing to have other cultures come here? I think the answer to that is no, it's just that our culture and heritage is valuable as it exists now and in the past, which probably won't change
I get where you're coming from, and I think it's important to recognise that throughout history, whenever large numbers of people have moved into another population's land, it’s never been a case of peaceful coexistence-one culture always ends up dominating or even replacing the other. Take the Bell Beaker people moving into Britain, for example. They replaced much of the original Neolithic population, both culturally and genetically. The Romans did the same when they arrived, imposing their laws, language, and way of life, which fundamentally changed the native British culture. More recently, we've seen similar patterns across the world-just look at what happened to the Native Americans or the Aboriginal Australians. Small numbers of immigrants, say 1% or less, can usually integrate without drastically changing the host culture. But when it happens in large numbers, those new populations inevitably start taking positions of power-controlling councils, shaping policies, and often disregarding or even replacing the traditions and values of the native people. History shows us time and time again that cultural balance doesn't last when mass migration occurs. It’s not about rejecting other cultures-far from it. I want all cultures to thrive, but history proves that it works best when people flourish separately in their own lands, as they have for thousands of years. There’s a reason things have always been that way; it's how humanity naturally developed, preserving unique traditions and identities without being forced to compete for cultural survival within the same space.
God bless
This should be taught in Schools.....otherwise we will dwindle, and become nothing
I am a 4th generation immigrant with mixed heritage from across the Carribean and a little bit of English residing here in England. Have lived here my entire life, for 19 years now. However, such things do not make me an Englishman at all.
Well it certainly makes you part english. If a DNA test traces you back to england (if you take one) then you are certainly part english.
Learn the difference between British and english/welsh/Scottish. The British are the political elite that came about through the acts of union 1707.
