Everywhere is getting expensive, frightfully expensive

You did right. They had closed it. There were families taking their kids on the prom, didn’t quite understand that. I went, my choice, but I wouldn’t have taken my family. Still plenty of time to visit and enjoy without the bad weather.

You’ll enjoy the bar. Loads to eat, but I wouldn’t bother with the the Christmas loaded fries, unless you’re sharing

Not necessarily rides , but more food vendors and bar. More like other Christmas markets. Spread out to more than just one area and improve footfall to an area that needs it. Long term, the area improves and numbers in the pleasure beach improve again.

Perhaps pleasure beach should be subsidised to be all year around even if the rides are closed it’s a big area but would be cheaper than having it closed and other vendors set up casually

@@grahamparkin2465 agree. There are a few areas that could open up for vendors. There are a lot of places all around the world that open up food courts that are hubs for great food, music and generally good times

If you have seen my review of their Seaview chip shop, you are not going to hear any arguments from me. I didn’t think all the food stalls were ran by them, but all round coral island would be no surprise.

No chance, everything has become so expensive in England, in the next few year's you will see mass redundancies and homelessness, the only shops left will be basic food stores

If they extended the Christmas by the sea, it would help the local businesses, not just the main shopping area. If you look when the fireworks are on, the whole prom is busy and all the shops get more customers. This is why I think it needs looking at.

I definitely agree with Walk On The Wild Side with the South and Central Piers. Free to enter, vibrant and fun. I’ve done a few vids on the piers, I do enjoy an afternoon on South Piers, especially during the airshow.

So that’s why I mentioned pleasure beach free entry also open hours need extending late nights as they always used spent many hours in there not anymore

@ also why I mentioned their arcade could open if some kind of extension of the Christmas by the sea was done in the car park opposite. Or, something I have just thought of, they could do a Christmas market in the first part of the park, but fence off the rest of the park. Free entry

Nice one fella - stay away from the tourist ones like borough market or Spitalfields . For the best smash burgers somewhere like Brixton village or loads of pop ups and amazing burger joints around Shoreditch station. Admittedly not cheap but well worth a visit. Love Blackpool but not for the food , you shouldn’t of eaten that mate

@@Upsidedownheadtravels Not since the refit, they got rid of the really grotty caravan they had to the new one that looks like a shipping container. Everything on the prom is generally over priced and low quality, there may be exceptions but I wouldnt risk it. The food places near coral island were stacking bin bags full of rubbish and food on top of the cabin and going back in without washing hands and serving tourists.

@ I’ve tried a few, just to give my honest opinion. Most I would have stayed away from normally but since starting the channel earlier this year,I felt I had to do a selection. The ones near Coral Island, I can’t bring myself to review as I think I would end up in A&E at the Vic.

Ask for a pot of chilli sauce and get a normal cheeseburger. Save yourself some money. You might have a decent McDonald’s franchise near you, but the one I went to was poor. No heat in the jalapeños and minimal flavour in the chilli sauce. This is only my view, and maybe tainted on better experiences from other food establishments from around the U.K. and the world including other McDonald’s Glad you and your family enjoyed yours though. ATB

It's yuck, the so called chilli is cold,has no flavour, And texture of baby food, the only good burgers at McDonald's are the expensive one's £5 quid.

Hello again just want to say that my opinion has changed I went back again this past weekend for two chili cheeseburger and was cinsitpated the entire weekend I got angry at my son for annoying me because I was so constipated so I have to agree now that it isn’t a good burger and not worth it

Last couple of years it’s not been too bad, nice walk down the prom. Sneaky hot cider or rum. I do like Tower fisheries 😀

they are alright tbh, mcdonalds is a funny one because a lot of people will hate on it that never eat it, and thus join in when these new things are released crazy how many people on facebook will say they had one yesterday and it was the worst thing ever and in another comment talk about how they dont eat mcdonalds and have not touched it in years lmfao best thing to do is give it a go.. its a better double cheeseburger in my opinion. not sure what people were expecting

Pretty much spot on, get a double cheeseburger and ask for a pot of chilli sauce. The jalapeños had zero heat. The burgers are now not what they were.

but if its just a double cheese with those bits added why is it so horrible and why do people hate it so much? its alright but nothing special.. but that is mcdonalds all over. don't forget most people that moan about how bad mcdonalds is do not eat it so have invalid opinions

There is a place in Salford Quays that might be worth a visit, check out Kargo MKT.

I agree 100%. Places like The Eating Inn is one of the few that I would go to through choice. I’m told that Mother Hubbards is also half decent and that people do return there. The rest on the prom I would normally stay away from. The smashed burger place is worth a visit though, just south of the Manchester. I know many that go there more than once. Where is your favourite Chippy?
