can either camera be run in offline mode (non-cellular)?
The R4G can be ran offline without any cellular network. You simply turn the cellular network off in the settings. The R4G-Lite does not.

So am I only allowed 42000 photos a month if I run 10 cameras? Is there not an unlimited plan to pick from?
You’re nvr gonna hit 42000 photos in a month
Out of thousands and thousands of customers, we have never had someone cut it close or run out of data on that specific plan of 10 camera and 42,000 photos. That would equate to a picture every 1 minute of every day on every camera and running a burst mode. You will have more than enough to request HD without additional costs because you already have data to use in your pool. No nickel and dime scheme for Black Gate, you pay for the data, you can use it how you want. Keep in mind your data plans can mix and match however you would like to fit your needs. If it's too much, you can always cut back the following month and downgrade your data package.
