I suspect it's because the decker is walking, and the movement of its chassis is causing some kinda violent movement and friction between the decker and drill, which is also causing all kinds of physics wierdness and damage towards the drill.

It flies just fine. Try playing defensive once in a while. Rooks aren't designed to take damage in the front or back very well.

Hey dude. Actually, I've never played this game on anything but the touch controllers (starting from Rift, to Quest 2, to my current, Quest 3 touch controllers). I currently still use touch controllers and they work great. They're much more immersive and let me feel like I'm actually in the pilots seat in these grinders. The playerbase is still there. Check out the discord (in the description) for more info on the game, chat with the devs and vets, and to get more info on events. We hold competitive matches regularly on Thursday nights, which, all are welcome to spectate if you are not in a team. We're currently in between seasons as Season 5 has just ended. @@hube235 Ah ok my mistake I think I've seen a person use it before so I must have confused them for you lol. Touch controllers!? Might have to try finding that online (I'll use the ones you said as pointers) and for sure. Might have to pick it up for my SSS (Steam Summer Sale) buy.

I have the game on both the Oculus store and Steam store. Personally, I enjoy the Oculus version better because it allows a more seamless re-centering control. With Steam VR, it's a little wonky. You can still play the game in PCVR regardless of which store you buy Vox from.

It’s a lot of fun. Super high skill ceiling, nice community. Be sure to check out the tutorials, some of the single player, and some youtube videos by acemaven, before hopping into multiplayer. There are a lot of resources out there to get up to speed

So I literally have not been able to play any other game because Titanfall 2 is just such a good game that every time I play another game I feel the urge to play Titanfall. Now my question is, is this better or on par with Titanfall?

It definitely has great visuals, intuitive cockpit controls, and unique environments. What really shines the most is the gameplay. Everything is every well balanced, and nothing is overpowered

@@hube235 Just the first time hearing about someone requesting a laser boost to get places. Interesting. How effective is this in battle?

I'm not 100% certain yet, but, I've seen lasers impede an advancing GDR quite effectively. I figure, it would help with a significant fuel savings when I'm trying to propel myself in a 1-way trip to meet cali, or, anybody on the other team, which should give me more headroom for last second maneuvering

Yes, that's was a fun event. Funny how even the slightest bit of complacency can get u killed in this game mode. Check out round 3 where that hopper snuck up on me behind the blindspot.
