So, there I was mowing my yard and decided to mow over some weeds along a particular wall of my house when three baby rabbits jumped out. Unfortunately, one of the babies got slightly hit in the head and sadly died within minutes. I still had a cage, fluff, and food for a couple of rats I had last year. Im trying to get my parents to get someone to take care of my one rabbit but they dont want to, she would be alone well over 24 hours, they are too cheap to get someone to take care of her, I get it, its expensive, but I care about her more than the money, how do I get them to understand? Im scared of my bunny's mental health and they are acting like its no big deal, can someone help?

My rabbit is sneezing non stop since yesterday, she is also making a weird noise ..like she is abt to vomit or maybe she is trying to cough(i knw rabbits dont vomit)... I am really worried abt her;''(😢 she is 2 yrs old and a very sweet bunny.. doc gave her an injection n a syrup...but i dont see any progress or improvement....i dont knw what will happen..i love my bunny very very much...nthn feels good and its very hard to see my bunny suffering so much😢😢😢😢😭

Today I got a new rabbit and the color is red eyes

My rabbit has a new water bottle that hopefully won’t leak. However he got very quiet and not his normal energetic self after having the bottle a couple of days. Then we noticed he was constipated and passed a very large stool. We thought maybe he wasn’t able to get water from his new bottle?? Any suggestions? We put water in a bowl thinking he can consume more water?

Hi! My rabbit has frequent sneeze since a month ago. We already went to a rabbit-savvy vet. Xray is clear, no discharge, eating and drinking normally, and according to vet, no overgrown molars. We are already treating her with benadryl and nebulizing with nss twice a day. Fits of sneezing is not that frequent, however, random sneezing every after few minutes. Vet already considering steroids with antibiotics

My rabbit started sneezing like crazy yesterday. It’s gotten better but he’s still sneezing. Ive been really worried about him lately. After watching this I feel so much better knowing that it’s probably not the snuffles. His sneezes are dry and he has no other symptoms so Im guessing it’s just allergies because the seasons are changing or maybe some dust. Thank you for this information. ❤❤❤

Is there a type of rabbit that is suitable for kids. My six year old wants one but I figured they may bite pretty hard.

We went to the vet with our bunny because he keeps sneezing and he has a bit of a wet eye. We got some medication for him but it got way worse and turned red. The vet wasn’t very helpful. The bunny has this a very long time but it doesn’t seem to get worse so we left it there. He’s still doing fine but it’s kind of sad that he sneezes so much. What can we do?

Need more people like you who care. My rabbit had the snuffles , I had a hunch but her vets kept saying she was fine. Unfortunately she passed away and it wasn’t until I went out of the normal borough in nyc and jumped hoops to be a new patient in a different exotic animal care hospital, did I find all this information out. Watch out guys, sometimes vets really only do it for money.

my bunny started showing slight head tilt a 3 days ago, I immediately consulted his vet online (there's only 2 exotic vets in my country and his vet lives across the country) and started his medication within a few hours, he was feeling better by the end of the day and 90% better the next day, today his head is completely straight and he's behaving fully normal again, I am very glad such videos exist because we need more and more awareness, if it is diagnosed early on it can get better very soon! thanks a lot

My Rabbit is 7 years old now and never was neutered,he never tried to mate with me only walk in circles,licked my hands and legs mostly of the time he wants treat,pets or attention he have a wife,friend Dog and female Cat (5 years old she leaves my house for 1 month just to mate with the streets Cats i founded her recently on the streets) but she died earlier due to something she may have eaten i noticed too late,he looks very happy and healthy but many researchs say to neuter them thanks God he don't get any sickness or cancer related to his genitalia many says that when they get older they can contain cancer while females get cancer on their parts too and you can't just cut it!

My holland lop had vestibular disease months ago, which he recuperated from. But it affected his ability to remember using his litter box, and I couldn't retrain him to use it :( I've gradually noticed his bottom becoming damp (at first I thought he kept upsetting his water dish by mistake). But now his bottom is wet daily. The vet put him on an antibiotic assuming he had a UTI, but the medication didn't work or change anything. I've bathed him and noticed his little legs are becoming red and sore looking :( I put diaper rash cream on them today, hoping and praying the situation improves. Should I change vets to get a second opinion or maybe a different medication for him? He's an indoor free-roaming rabbit and appears happy & playful most of the time. Any suggestion would be helpful, thanks.

What if the male and female are both unfixed?

It is so funny to watch my rabbit go through this. walking around with hay sticking out both sides of mouth, and the constant attempts at building a nest. I give her a secluded area in her pen, for the nest, and just give her some privacy. If she is allowed to free roam, she will be running all over the place with bundles of hay, looking for a nest area. So funny.

Do they get sad if they lose bunnies( the mother)

For some reason, well-intentioned parents often identify & associate small cute animals like bunnies, kittens, puppies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, chicks/ducklings, ferrets, etc with being perfect pets for their toddlers. They mistakenly believe because they’re babies, they’re calm, playful and will “grow up” perfectly with their child. Sadly, they quickly find out that animal babies bite, scratch, kick, peck, pee, poop everywhere or have a natural personality that gives them the tendency not to interact with humans - especially young toddlers who pinch, grab, squeeze, bite, etc. almost anything. So, the parents usually surrender the animal to a rescue (if the animal is lucky) or just release them out into the wild. Any breeder who is more into breeding for the money, naturally doesn’t think about the welfare of their animal - or the safety of a child. Most responsible breeders either refuse to sell their animal to adults wi5h small children or will require extensive proof that the adults have experience with that specific breed and also have a well thought out, in-depth plan to raise that animal which has the animal’s best interest & the child’s safety as their top priorities. I've taken care, bred and shown dwarves, angoras and giants. From my experience, the MOST friendliest breed is the French Lop. Hands down. They are so laid back. Followed by the Flemish Giants and the Continental Giants. The smaller breeds tend to be more skittish and independent, which is not a bad trait at all. It's just who they are. Genetically speaking, dwarf rabbits achieved dwarfism by crossing with wild rabbits (Research paper linked). Hence, it is no wonder the smaller breeds are more skittish and alert. Ironically my late mother's then neighbors had a pet rabbit in a cage which they left outside. The rabbit was safe, but we had a kitten named Figaro who hung around the cage and kept staring at it. He never harmed it, but he did catch wild rabbits later on. We did have an older cat who took no interest in it, and the neighbors themselves had two cats who did not bother the rabbit either.
