Thank you for this valuable interview. I met the elder in January 2023 by the grace of God. I was led to his skete (St. Andrews in Karyes) in miraculous days. Thankfully he heard my confession and I could witness the charism and many graces (such as true clairvoyance) of the elder. He was full of divine love, so fiery that the space around him was physically hot. He knocked me on the head with his hot hand (I imagine to dispel some of the stupid thoughts I harbored) and showed tremendous love, although I had never met this man before. Elder Ephraim told me many things about my life (he couldn't have known by conventional means) and gave me very valuable advice. Most memorable though was his humble love. It was obvious to me that this was a grace-filled elder but he quite "normal" and humorous too (he made me sing "Silent night" since I am from Austria). I was very sadened to hear of his passing. May His memory be eternal!
