Until I got the opportunity to watch this craziness on UA-cam, I used to think the movie "Slap Shot" was a parody. How little I knew.

That was pathetic. I had some dude in the comment section of another video reference this fight as an example of the fact that Binnington will de-gear and fight. This was a joke. I've had more intense fights, and thrown actual real punches, against my own brother.

Im 49 and I went to my very first NHL game last night in Washington against Tampa and I experienced a Pat Maroon fight on top of it all. He brings so much intensity into the game.. Im a fan of his now.

He's still producing at a high clip despite facing the other team's best checkers most nights. I love Vlad and think he's been awesome for the Blues. He should definitely have his number retired based solely on his body of work thus far. He's got a Cup, and has been the exciting scoring backbone of the St. Louis attack for a solid DECADE. Plus, he's gotten better defensively as his career has progressed. Never afraid to throw his weight around and deliver/take HARD contact, to make a play, too. A Great Blue. #91 to the rafters please.
