Archaeology in the Community
Приєднався 16 кві 2013
This channel features videos produced by and about Archaeology in the Community (AITC). AITC's goal is to foster a greater connection between the public and the field of archaeology. AITC is a network of archaeologists, anthropologists, teachers, and volunteers working together to promote a greater understanding of archaeology's important role-presenting all citizens with a greater knowledge of their past. Our educational and outreach endeavors make archaeology accessible to youth, schools/colleges, community members and community organizations though creative programs and community projects.

I've been sleuthing the locations of two frontier forts near my home for some time, the sites having been lost some decades ago.
Wow! Great job and amazing work from the students
7 years late, but good video. There is a lot of interest in the community for the history of the Early Frontier Forts of Penna. More than you would think. The whole French and Indian war period and colonial period is very interesting. Again nice video, and a hat tip to all those who worked on the dig.
this vidio is a magic
The introduction was ok but the public need more information.Who were mr josiah's Miltias, and where were they from?
Who is doing the work regarding Black indigenous remains found in North America? Africa is a continent, America is a continent.... “African American”.... Not accurate, for any person.
Their are a number of scholars, organizations and descendant groups all over the US working on saving sacred spaces.
@@archaeologyinthecommunity3911 Thank you so much for your response; my apologies for my sidebar comment; I am doing my best to try and understand our pre history, unfortunately there isn’t a wealth of information on this.
@@ChillWill2050 Society of Black Archaeologists just held a number of panels sessions on that topic you may want to explore their website for links to all of the discussions with Indigenous scholars.
Nobody needs to make time to look into a racist conspiracy theory. Black washing history is just as bad as white washing history. You are suffering from an identity crises and your helping to promote lies. You know why there isn't a wealth information because its a lie and your confused mind can"t tell the difference.
I have family buried there and I was baptized at that church.
Nice video. However you should take instructions from woodprix website if you want to learn how to make it easily.
don't want to admit, but this was kinda helpful
Good one Ms Jones.
