I think banks should require a demolition down payment for these home owners that want to build million dollar homes. If I have millions to spend, why would I buy someone else's million dollar dream home. I would just buy my own property and build my own. Problem is some of these people don't understand that while you're spending millions on your tastes, it may not be the next guys taste. Of course you have location location, but with the increase of people working from home, you can live anywhere. So think before you build a million dollar mansion. Just know, that this may not be an investment, you might loose a lot of money. Kinda like Michel Jordan mansion in Chicago. Who wants to live in Chicago that can afford his house or has the same taste he has. Just saying.
