The plastic is there because most cars can use the same core size the metal in the middle. The plastic is for the different dimensions and fittings for fans coolers and so on. Cheaper to make the plastic different then metal plus would need to make more of them and would cost you more in the end.

get your vin and decode it using a Nissan vin decoder see what you have

Rogue is now changed spell check did not get them correct on any of the videos i have. As for the sport or not still does not matter same engine is same engine you can do this in a an altima anything with the same engine bay setup the removal process will be the same.

@@kevinsmobileautomotiverepair The regular Rogue has a 2.5L motor with TWO fans. The Rogue sport has 2.0L motor with ONE fan. I know this because I bought the wrong part.

Yes agree on the fan setup as for the procedure they are identical for r and r purposes. Still wants you to remove the upper radiator core support on both 2 0 or 2.5 rogues

Never mind there are 2 clips at the top that you have to loosen by pulling them apart with a screwdriver. Then one or two at the bottom.

@@kevinsmobileautomotiverepairyes sorry I watched another video that doesn’t mention the clips at the top. So I tried only the bottom left and couldn’t get through fan to budge. Finally understood what to do after watching ur video

its just a pull apart sensor you likely have dirt stuck in there holding it on place look at your new sensor you will see no clips or anything to undo just pull it out of the socket

@@kevinsmobileautomotiverepair thank you. After a bit more tugging, I got it out. I successfully changed all 4 break pads but now I have CEL, brake pad service and 43 miles speed limit. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery terminals and no luck.

@@mrnornum1794 would need to put the system in maintenance mode before doing any work. A scanner will be needed to clear the abs system codes

You could always ooo put your vin in an autoparts stores vin decode and mmm look up BELT TENSIONER they have pretty good pictures of things now you can rotate some of them you can even place them on different parts of the car its pretty neat if you ask me. WOW awesome I even found the OEM part number BT-123. Information is power my friend.

I would say no most pullies can be removed with out the engine being dropped down. All depends how which one you need done and how close it is to the frame its a case by cause thing.
