The Earth is a Spaceship; Part two!

You wouldn't actively destroy your car, would you? Let's find ways to make the ride home not only hospitable, but healthy in more than just human-centered ways; planet-centered ways, too. The earth will go on without us, but we can learn to take care of both it, and ourselves, as well. I hope you enjoy :)

Loveee!
Wait omg !! Long time no see. I remember the good old Bagel days!
omg!!! LOL how'd you know it was me?!
@@CuppaSimsnStuff I remember the voice 😂
The idea is super solid. If you can get the building to work with you I think you'd have a very interesting challenge to make areas different and distinct mixed with nature. Part 2?
Thanks! 🥰 and definitely; I intend on it!
The names Millennial, Standard.... Millennial. Love the idea of this Sim lol
😂 thanks! ❤
how you got door option it was disabled for me
To make a door you either make a path into the building or place a window on the ground
I second @mikez1328 - I drew a path to the walls, and the walls became doors (archways if I drew the path through a standalone wall that was not part of a building). I didn't know about placing a window on the ground, though - thanks! 💖
this game looks pretty chill. I think I tried playing it a couple years ago but couldn't figure it out lol
lol! Yeah it's super complicated at the start, watching videos and tutorials is definitely helpful for getting your feet wet!
Lovely video!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it 💖
wow at the begining of the video i tried rotating the camera lol
hahaha!
Your voice is so soothing to listen to <3
Thank you!🥰
I would love to download for my game!!
Thanks so much!!! I really appreciate it! I saved it to the gallery, and you can find it by searching my username: welcom2theparty 🥰 It is called "Something New Place"🤩
Cute❤
Thanks so much! 🥰
Oh god the terror of sitting on a toilet at a dinner with your new friends and you've been going for like 3 mins. Then you look up to see the arch way is open air. My god the stares you'd get after that....
LOL!!!😂
Wow I love this
Thank you so much!!
Honestly loved watching this
That means so much to me - thank you!
I like the laundry nook! I wish we had doors to use like that. Also the whole idea of the house is adorable. ☺️👌🏻
Thanks!!! 🥰
not sure how i stumbled across your account, but this video is honestly so calming, i love it.
Thank you!!🥰 This was such a nice comment to read!
Great idea love the concept!
Thanks!!!🥰
Some tips from a pro, focus way more on foresters with all the iron and stone removed from their area, the gatherers and fishermen are best for food focus also on tools and clothes, focus a lot less on farmers i would recommend only put farms near foresters but not in their circle, use sheep and cattle for food and warm coats, you struggle because you have too many farms and too many houses and dont take in nomads ever
Thank you so much!!!! and LOL i was playing completely opposite this 😄
That has to be one of my favourite wallpapers and I have to stop myself from using it in every build 😂
it's very modern yet retro - like a sleek new chic, but also VERY appropriate aesthetically for an eco pack!!! I totally feel that!!! 😂💗
@@CuppaSimsnStuff absolutely! it is everything haha
❤🧡💛
Thanks for the comment!! 🧡
Very secret stuff in that cauldron. Avert your eyes from the forbidden herbs and books. GAZE INTO THE CAULDRON. Love where your head was at when doing the hidden area. Idk what would be on that computer but even i dont understand magnets so that may infact be it...
lol!!!! 😂💖 This was so much fun to work on, I look forward to future collabs and I *know* your game will take off!!!💖💖💖💝 Thanks for sharing your inspiration with me 🥰 it was really fun 🥰🥰
I love this!!!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it! 🥰
This is very creative!
Thank you so much! 🥰
I love how elegant but separate and distinct each type is. Fantastic work. I can easily see your thought process/style coming across even in a short video like this. For instance the wide flare of the legs in the Earth teachers tower. I 100% know you were like "Oh heck yeah that's really grounded and hefty! That can hold some heavy Earth types!" Thanks for the video!!!
You're so welcome! I'm glad you liked it!! Ha! Yeah I'm glad you noticed that! Definitely, grounded definitely has a feeling of gravity and weight!
Interesting concept to use playing as a vehicle to think about what we'd prefer as a society/member of.
Yeah! Thanks! I think it's one of the healthiest ways we have available at such a time of change, when it can feel turbulent in the real world. It also allows us to play out experiments in virtual realities, rather than over real people, in our exploration of what we like.
My favorite video so far. I enjoy hearing the thought process of "solving" the puzzle of the space. The design seems amazing for 1 or even 2 people who are willing to make it work. Great work overall would pay above market for the trailer 😂.
Thank you! 🥰 I really appreciate your feedback and support. idk how I got lucky enough to have a friend like you, but I'm grateful for it 🥰
Love how it turned out. Im curious to know what you think about adding a plant in the corner behind the couch in the "dining room." I feel like it might help even further make the space more distinct and keep the people in that area subtly more focused in that space.
That is a Great idea!!!
Actually, I want to revisit the previous response: 1) I LOVE that you were thinking of how to psychology differentiate between the spaces, and plants would be a nice cadenza to the living space, since they are on one end, so putting other plants on the other end can make sense in that way. However, 2) I don't think a lot of natural light will get to the plants, especially if they're behind the couch, which would not be ideal. And while I thought about lighting, I also realized that I hadn't included more lighting beyond the lighting that was there are the start of the video - bathroom wall lights, kitchen wall lights over the counters, and the lamp on the dresser in the bedroom. So while a plant might not work behind the couch, 3) Perhaps a thin floor lamp would be better behind the couch. That way the space also has better lighting when the windows don't provide natural lighting solutions, like at night. However, the lamp would have to be very thin, since there is not a lot of space. Keeping in mind each tile is 2.5 sq feet, the lamp would have to be very thin so that all dining chairs can still be accessible without compromising ease of use. Thanks for the response, I actually really enjoyed thinking about it!
The tube and tunnels in the daycare!!!!! That's adorable!!!
🥰🥰🥰
"Like what alot of mansions TRY to have..." Shots fired! Lol. Haven't finished it yet but I like where you're headed with this!
LOL! Glad you liked that! 😂
Please Note!!! I kept saying "Town Hall from Banished" when I really meant "Boarding House from Banished!" 💖💖💖💖
I'll be honest I laughed when you went up the stairs to the fifth unit. It can't all be perfect but we get pretty close lol. Amazing video btw. Please keep it up. It's a really well done style of building and would 100% work in the world.
LOL I'm glad you liked that!!! Yeah that unit was definitely a challenge!!! 😂 Thanks, I appreciate the feedback 💖
Cool video
Thanks! I appreciate it!
