    Nice video and I liked the safety reminders. I only thing I would add is the safety of your wallet. Remember NEVER reverse the + and - of the battery since these units don't have that protection. Sure is a shame that Victron makes these units non-repairable to the consumer. At least the 75 and 100V up to the 100/20 have a user accessible fuse. Subscribed tonight as well. They are using two 8AWG wires for the negative terminal? That's a recommended ampacity of 110A. What's the point of a 200A continuous BMS if the cables aren't rated for it? Also, I noticed you put the main negative lug above the balancing wire lug. Lugs carrying the most current should be closest to the power source.

    • @easypowerwall
      @easypowerwall 25 днів тому

      Good remark. I mentioned it for the positive pole but didn't apply for the negative pole. Will add "errata" under the video and on the EASYPOWERWALL FB page. About the power, it's always good to have some headroom. 80AMP/1KW is no issue after 15min. Had no 2KW inverter at hand to test this load....But I agree 2x 8AWG is not designed for +100A for to long.

    I prefer the larger JK 4.3" touchscreen, it would be good if the UBP had a user-buyer display option. For me missing mounting options for these 12V and 24V battery boxes. For newly manufactured battery boxes it would be good to add rows of 3 to 4 threaded inserts - min. M6 - down above the base and under the lid, from the outside to the back wall and into the side walls.

    So actually for around €300 you get around 4kWh of capacity. What else would you need to make this a plug in power source for your power net in house? Like the balcony solar panels you can now also buy batteries that you can plug in directly to the wall socket (yes they only deliver 300/400Watts) . So is it doable to create this yourself?

    Both cells performed exceptionally well, either would be fine but calendar aging is the main problem with these cells, so use it or lose it, with the cheaper cells you would get better bang for buck, these cells will all perform well for solar installs & generally guarantee 80% SOH or better after ten years.

    Op 2:04 wordt vermeld dat de panelen van elk 175W in serie geschakeld zijn. Dit zou op 350W totaal vermogen komen. Ik vind dit merkwaardig. Bij serieschakelingen verhoogt men de spanning, het vermogen blijft toch gelijk?! Om 350W te bekomen zou men toch de panelen in parallel moeten schakelen?! Kun je dit verduidelijken?

    • @easypowerwall
      @easypowerwall 2 місяці тому

      Hi, bedankt voor je vraag. Je stelling klopt. Bij serieschakeling verhoogt de spanning. De formule voor vermogen is P (vermogen) = Spanning x stroom. Dus voor serieopstelling is vermogen (29V + 29V) * 9A = 522W. Bij parallell opstelling is vermogen 29V * (9A+9A) = 522W. Conclusie, voor vermogen is het niet belangrijk als je de panelen in serie of parallell plaats. Vg Franky - EASYPOWERWALL

    I have a question, My 2x JK-BMS (JK PB2A16S20P) are configured to let my victron multiplus 2 (3x / 3 phase) load my 2 batterypacks (16x320Ah LiFeP04 Cell) (JK BMSes connected to eachother, then 1 can cable to the Cerbo GX. My Charging (absorption) voltage is about 54,7V with high current for an hour, and then raises to about 56,7V with low current. Thats the wrong way in voltage!?? Cerbo is set to DVCC Mode. My most important BMS settings are: Cell OVP: 3.65 V Vol. Cell RCV: 3.6 V = 57.6 V SOC 100% Volt: 3.55 V = 56.8 V Cell OVPR: 3.54 V Cell UVPR: 3.02 V SOC 0% Volt: 3.0 V = 48 V Cell UVP: 2.8 V Power off vol: 2.65 V Vol. Cell RFV: 3.50 V = 56 V RCV time: 1.0 H RFV time: 6.0 H Someone can help me to get this right? My thougths are first high voltage and amps absoption, then lower voltage and amps for float? What settings in BMS do i have to change?? Many thanks for reading this,

    Great video! Does the solar panel maximum fuse rating apply to the wiring past the combiner box? Let's say have 4 panels with 6 amp rating. And a 15 amp max Fuse rating. If I parallel them once before the combiner box it would be 12 amps then at the box it would be 24 Amps on the way to the charger. Can that flow backwards toward the panels?

      HEy, Because of the anti-flow-back diodes in the combiner box there's no flow backwards from combined power towards solar. Your numbers are correct. Check your charger, if possible go for a higher voltage input. Most MPPT accept 100V and convert to 12V. Good luck. Franky - EASYPOWERWALL

    Hell. What setting should I set my charg controller using lifepo4 3.5V 30A+30A 16S. What amp should I set my charg controller?

      Not really sure what 30A+30A means. is it the capacity of your lifepo4 cells? If so charge both banks with 30A (= 1C). Always good to check the spec sheet of your batteries. In my case battery bank is +1000Ah so there's no limit in charge current as I will never charge above 1C, it's more like 0.1C Frank - EASYPOWERWALL

      Hey, Under the video you can find a link to my google drive. There you can download the gerber files to order the PCB from you favorite PCB factory. I ordered mine from JLCPCB. If it doesn't work send me another message, try to help you out. Franky - EASYPOWERWALL

    The fuses are 32v is this a problem with 52v system

    • @easypowerwall
      @easypowerwall 3 місяці тому

      I noticed that too. Fuses are there to limit the current, actuall can't think of any reason why a fuse would work at 32V but not at 52V DC. Installed it and never failed....

    Hey Franky, en hoe 'proper' zijn die dingen qua RF? Want het is niet omdat mijn buren heel het spectrum mogen vervuilen met hun omvormers dat ik er zelf nog een schepje bovenop moet doen.

      Goeie vraag....als radioamateur is dat ook een bezorgdheid voor mij. Ga dit zeker aankaarten in een vervolgfilmpje. Bedankt voor de opmerking. Franky - EASYPOWERWALL - ON7RU
