I remember crying because my mom did buy the CD for me. It was the episode where they fuse Red Dragon(failed fusion) but he end sleeping through the episode. Eventually he woke up and beat up the bad guy. Mom did buy me the CD now I feel bad for being a pain.

Yeah what many people(Pokemon fan's mainly) don't seem to realize that shin megami tensei predates Pokemon,Digimon and any other monster collecting rpg. Many people like to criticize Digimon thinking it's existence was to mimic Pokemon and Pokemon is not even that original as well.
Digimon is a project that emerged in 1987, the same year that the first Megami Tensei came out. After the boom of the first anime of Digimon, companies like Atlus and Capcom wanted to be inspired by Digimon to the maximum, and from there came Rockman.Exe and SMT Devil Children, that is, no one was inspired by Pokemon there
And Digimon has always been inspired by SMT to speak the truth, the stories are very similar, but this is not a copy, since many people who worked on SMT also worked on Digimon and vice versa. People need to stop comparing with Pokemon, which in addition to being nothing original, is a very weak product compared to other Monster Collection franchises
watched this long ago as a kid, played Shin Megami Tensei as a adult and found out Jack Frost was in the game

It seems that a good chunk of the manga is translated and it looks interesting, but I'll have to check that out after I beat Black Book currently
