So, to answer the question of "Would EMP's work?" N and V were hit by an EMP in EP. 6, so the Disassembly Drones aren't immune to EMP's. So how was J immune in Ep. 1? 3 possible answers: 1. The simple answer: Because PLOT. It would be kinda stupid if J ended the whole series by taking everyone offline in that first fight. 2. Maybe J is the only drone immune to EMP's. She is the only drone we see using them, and the severed arm used by Beau and Alice could have belonged to a J model- after all: "Effective Drones were cloned more." 3. Maybe the weapon fires in a specific direction. J holds the EMP over her head when firing it, so maybe the pulse doesn't fire downward? That being said, Uzi is shorter than J, so it doesn't make much sense. All being said though, even if EMP's worked on the drones, they only work *temporarily.* Uzi is back on her feet only a minute after getting blasted. How? The Absolute Solver program would be repairing any damaged electronics. Perhaps that's even the reason the EMP doesn't work on J, N and V in the first fight, but does work on N and V in episode 6, since in Ep.5 Cyn is no longer their admin. Maybe the Solver grants immunity to the EMP...
