This meeting was madness. Crashes left right and centre but, it was a great meeting.
Been following speedway since 1976 - Ivan Mauger riding for Exeter Falcons vs Sheffield Tigers, I recall. Followed all the Midlands teams in the 80s - Wolves, Stoke, Brum, Long Eaton, and all conquering Cradley Heath too! Remember Bruce Cribb on his ice bike whizzing round the Dudley Wood circuit at a spectacular rate of knots!! Oh, where have those days gone 😞 Where've most of those clubs gone?!

I used to watch the Halifax Dukes but now I live in Bridlington I really miss watching speedway scunthorpe is the nearest track to me , the last time I went too a meeting it was at Sheffield 4 years ago .
