This really made me reminisce about my old friend, I don’t miss her, she didn’t treat me horribly per say, but out other friends did; and she never stood up for me-maybe just occasionally agreed with them and added on to what they were saying to me but most times just stayed silent and watched. So I think leaving her was definitely the best decision. But we had a lot of great memories together just us, and I can’t help but stare at the window sometimes and remember them. We’d been friends since we were 7. We’d always hang out, we’d always play games in my trampoline pretending to be characters, we’d draw together, we’d make up stories together, we’d share interests together. I miss what we had; we used to be so close-I’m not even sure what happened but something did, I just hope she’s doing okay now. We occasionally cross paths but if we ever do anything more than just shooting a glance at each other than I’d be damned. I’m not sure why, but every time she looks at me it looks so full of, hate? I’m not quite sure how to word it, because I don’t known what I did to make her hate me. I don’t hate her, I never could. She meant so much to me at that time and nothing she could ever do could make me hate her. We just weren’t meant to be friends, and that’s okay. But sometimes I wonder about what it would be like if we were still friends, would it have worked out? Sometimes I do wish we had stayed friends, but she couldn’t handle talking things out and that’s my main way of communication. But maybe if we had just tired a little harder to find a form of communication that worked for us we’d still be friends now. It’s way to late to try and be friends now, we’ve spent to much time apart I’m not even sure I’d know what her favourite colour is anymore. So now I just accept us as a memory, and I can live with that. Even if we didn’t end on good terms, I don’t think anything could have changed the path that we went down.
