I am going for a 6-7 carat emerald cut diamond and I tried a 5 carat today and it just didn’t seem large enough even compared to my 3.43 carat princess so now I think I have to wait to see what becomes available because while it was gorgeous it just wasn’t right. Real jadeite can also come from China, Russia (like it or not Russia has a lot of good stuff) and even British Columbia, Canada. And it may even be found in a few other places. Myanmar mines 70% of Earth's jadeite. And by the way, Suzhou in Eastern China's Jiangsu province is known as the place where the greatest jade carvers come from. Every year they have a show. The jade cultural festival usually starts around Remembrance Day.
