Well, I am certainly a patriotic American, however I fail to see the necessity in America "projecting" its power for any reason short of self defense. That is not to say that in today's world that I don't understand or see the necessity of having assets such as aircraft carriers and a powerful military. I can't be the first to wonder what market Blue Glen will serve with the emergence of Starship. Starship is already well into testing and seems likely to become operational in 2025, Amazing. This according to SpaceX will end the Falcon 9 and Falcon heavy launch systems in the future when Starship's operational tempo is able to support demand for it's low cost launch serrvices. Starship series will launce and place payloads at 25-33% the current cost for the Falcon series which is already a fraction of SpaceX's competition. Looks like and its getting very difficult to make a cogent argument not supporting the SpaceX model has already completely disrupted the private launch/lift industry to the point even the survival of ULA seems likely to end in a sale to another company or liquidation of ULA assets. From the beginning, I was taught that the universe is finite in content. Energy can not be created nor destroyed. However the universe does not have a boundary. think of it similar to the surface of a sphere (ball). There is no outside. The assumption is that the universe is continuous. There are no holes. The term black hole is misnamed. It should be called a black star. The talk about "Nothing" is a contradiction, at least from a logical point of view. Space is not empty. Voids can not exist. The universe by definition is all that exists. Introducing the idea of "non-existence: along with "existence" leads to a contradictory logical system. Since existence exists, we must conclude non-existence does not exist, to be logically consistent. Sorry but I don't see the CMB proves the Big Bang theory. I just assume it is present, with an unknown cause. It is the nature of the universe. I wonder if the red shift for very distant objects is the result of traveling very long distances through a non-empty space. It could just indicate how far the object is from the observer. Maybe in local areas the red shift effect can tell if objects are moving toward or away from the observer. Sound and light are two different things. Cosmic red shift assumed that space was an empty void, so that nothing could change the frequency of the emitted light. This seems to be a false assumption. I will not argue if someone holds a different view. It is not worth the time. Without the big bang, all of the subsequent conclusions are just imagination trying to explain things with the given assumptions. I don't doubt all of the cosmic structure. There is proof for their existence.
