oooh I just made my own list of spooky games earlier and it's fun seeing how our list is similar and different! I love the "meddling kids" category lol, reminded me to go play jenny laclue since it's been in my backlog for a minute buffy is one of my fave spooky season shows, though tbh I watch it year round 🪄✨

YES finally glad they are sueing. I revolted by palwords ripoff, happy Nintendo is the ONLY company that does anything about these lozers, wish they'd sue gen$hit impact, since that game stole A LOT.

Lol @palworld getting sued..I mean they totally stole sooo many of their Pokémon’s and just did slight changes here and their to call it theirs... that’s bullshit. Where is the creativity? Why steal ideas when they could have made their own version of Pokémon’s and called it a day? I’m not a big fan of Nintendo but I kinda saw it coming, also Nintendo never does play when it comes to stuff like that anyway..

As much of a Nintendo fan I am. I totally disagree with them suing Palworld.. How do you get mad at them. Just make Pokemon better game more qraphics etc.

Oh I enjoyed hearing the tea! Palworld had it coming in my opinion, people are going to say Nintendo is the bigger company blah blah but they still own IPs and Palworld has infringed on them. Ah well, unpopular opinion probably, but being in the industry IP is everything and they deserve to protect theirs. Plus Palworld gives me the creeps for some reason??? IDK.

The trailer looks great and I'm glad they added an open world map. I was nervous that after a year of delays, we only had a pared down avatar creator demo, 30 seconds of decor and terraforming footage and less than 10 minutes of a Japanese game show demo. Like you, I'm taking the new release date with the tiniest grain of salt.

I think Nintendo is in the wrong here. If they are trying to sue them based on creating feature I think that is BS. I did not hear about Palworld team using AI but I can say its not cool it they are. IMO I dont think Palworld is in wrong here. I think Palworld as a game has some great features that I wish were in Pokémon. I believe this should push game freak to make a better product instead of picking on the little guy. I will wait to see how it all pans out but If Nintendo wins on some BS I dont think I will buy the next Pokémon game

I agree with what you are saying about pocket pair. There is definitely a difference between copying a game mechanic and taking inspiration from a game. Take stardew valley for example, concerned ape said that the biggest inspiration to stardew valley was story of seasons but when you look at both games they are very different he didn’t blatantly copy story of seasons gameplay mechanics but took it and made it his own. As for them suing for the pal spheres vs. poke balls I don’t know that necessarily Pokémon has rights to that. It’s like saying well stardew has dating mechanics so coral island and all the other farm sims can’t have dating mechanics bc it’s the same. Idk if that makes sense to anyone or just me lol but yeah.
