Tweed Garden - inspired by England
Czechia
Приєднався 6 кві 2023
Welcome to my channel inspired by my passion for England and English culture. My name is Radka and I love English countryside, traditions, culture and, most of all, English gardens.
As I am a creative person, I like use my journeys to England as an inspiration - for my illustrations, sewing projects, interior design and also videos that I share here.
I opened this channel in 2023 when I, after twenty years, left my job and started my new life journey with a long trip around UK. It had been far the best holiday in years and since that time I keep on posting my impressions and inspirations I get during the time I spent in England .
I share my English delights with everyone who, just like me, likes to walk in gardens, listen to birds singing and sighs when a room is well-tempered by a lovely wallpaper and heavy curtains.

Hi. What is the groundcover with white flowers on the top steps near 6:11 mark?
Hi, I am not an expert but I believe it is irish moss (sagina subulata).. placing of the plant and the way it grows certainly look like one www.nature-and-garden.com/gardening/sagina-sabulata.html

Lovely 😍
Love the views of Sissinghurst and the music ! We've dreamed of going there when we visit family in Oxford . It does seem difficult to get to unless you have a car . 💕🇨🇦🍁
Thanks so much for your comment and I am glad if I managed to share the beauty of the place in this way (since you were not able to get there). You are absolutely right, it´s complicated without a car which is why I mostly drive to the UK. But, this June I met in Rye a lady from Canada who came to England only to see these charming gardens and she took a Bolt or Uber taxi from Tunbridge Wells to get to Sissinghurst.
Thats really nice 👍 well made film with the music and beautiful gardens 👌
Thank you for your kind comment. The gardens were beautiful and very special indeed that day and so it took me a while to safe enough time to create my own visual story about this extraordinary autumn day :-)
Beautiful artistic movie, nice voice to listen to. Well done.
thank you for your kind comment :-)
Like the wallpaper 👍👍 and its better than going to the gym lol
But the problem is there is never enough walls and it´s costly :-D
Some nice old cars there 👌 you sure had the good weather 🌞 Glyn

Love to see those in the flower boarders 👌
Yes, they are perfect and those vibrant colors always stand out... but the ones in Hinton Ampner were the best I have seen so far :)
Nice 👍
My favorite tea ☕
Yes :-) A perfect blend :-)
Thats the kind of house i could of easily live in 👍 beautiful gardens and house 👌 and ofcourse the NT shop
The destroyed part? :-D Yes, it´s very cosy there...plus if you had all volunteers working on the garden, that might work, what you think? :-D
Thats very clever 👍 nice work 👌
You are very kind, just like always :-)
Wonderful 👌 it's a magical place nice film
Thank you @glyn829, you are always very kind.. I met in one of the campings men who told me when he was a child, you could climb on the stones .. unimaginable these days.. I was wondering how they do it during solstices...Do they let people near the stones or are they circling around just like everyday turists... With a view on the busy road it all felt a bit surreal...
Working on Nymans garden now.. What a charming estate :-)
@@tweedgarden we visited a few years ago you could get quite close but not touch them yes it's strange to see the cars passing by isn't it
Much better than the yellow version. (Without trolling this magic monument is what makes you fell in awe. It's a time-machine !) Beautiful ❤
@@jsb7975 The Salisbury Plain is charming.. It makes you think a lot about past. The Camping in Salisbury is right under the Old Sarum... If someone fortold to the late kings this future reality would they believe?
A pity that we can't see how the factory operates. My memory of Morgan stems from the Troubleshooter TV programme presented by John Harvey-Jones. He showed how they would start fabricating a chassis and then climb abord to ride down the hill to another shed where the doors would be fitted. Then they'd push it back up the hill to the first shed where they'd fit the mirrors, Another ride down the hill would bring them to a different shed where the engine would go in before someone would carry in some seats.....Apparently they'd had a dream for 40 years of producing a 4th car in a week but that would have entailed less pushing. I wonder whether it's the same now.
That´s the challenge of being at a special place only once. If I came in different part of the week, the workshops would be busy. But than I would be limited by very narrow area where are people allowed to walk . Plus as I wrote before, not everybody is happy to be filmed.... One can´t get everything in one go.. Maybe the next time if I had an opportunity to return. But - there are a few more videos on Morgan factory on youtube so I believe you can find more. We heard hilarious stories about how they sit in chases without seats testing the new motors and driving in these Morgan skeletons in around company grounds. It´s the challenge of these special experiences - you wan tto capture as much as possible from what you enjoyed at the given moment. Had I an opportunity to be there for a few days, I could create something much better 🙂
The Guide mentioned that programme - one of the points they implemented was that they moved the workshops more in tune with the processes not to push the cars to the hill when they are not yet ready. I am surprised myself how little they tell on their web pages.. probably to make people come and see. But it was really nice - old way of doing things by hands
@@tweedgarden It was an excellent series. Each week J H-J would visit a failing business and be ushured into the boardroom where the directors would bemoan their bonus. Then, like Richard Feynman at NASA, the guys on the shop floor would recount how they'd told the bosses again and again that their hair-brained schemes hadn't a hope. The rest of each programme would follow him cajoling the bosses. The Morgan programme was the final one of the series and where he thought he failed to get everyone to pull together.
The guide said that they didn´t take everything from the advice but the "pushing" was seen as a problem even by Morgan so they rearranged the flow of work so that they don´t havet do that anymore... "Who would build a car factory on a hill" was a cute quote from the serie that was mentioned...But it has a special charm - the fact it´s not flat and the workshops are houses with roofs and not just flat modern boxes :-)
The song I used was composed by the dad of my friend before the second world war. I always liked it but only later in life I met a colleague who told me it was her dad's work :)
