jazz piano improvisation in Eb major - as my fingers began to dance across those lil ivories, the melody took on a nature all its own. it was light and airy yet underscored with richness, kinda like my thoughts - buoyant yet deeply felt. phrases rose and fell in a way that mirrored the highs and lows we all face, and the harmonies brought a sense of calm acceptance. while improvised in the moment, on reflection this piece seems to capture the essence of being thoroughly enchanted by both grand vistas and simple pleasures. it aims to convey gratitude for this amazing experience called living - in all its ups and downs, knowns and unknowns :D to me, "simply amazing" pays tribute to life's ordinary yet extraordinary qualities, and serves as a reminder to stay open to beauty in each everyday moment, just as I was staring out at a lavender dusk that day. Some things truly are too wonderful for words.
