This is my spot on Fool Us as broadcast on Jan. 8, 2021. I'm pretty much overwhelmed by Penn's comments.

Bad color but a recording from a live corporate show in July 1989
That was a great trick! (I've been doing magic for 60 years)
Such a performance, I was thoroughly entertained with the story. 😊 Penn might have said that he's not going to talk in code but a few quick words afterwards confirmed that the trick was known.
Fantastic performance, sir! A short trick, but with no shortage of entertainment. Rock on!
I am pretty sure of he was placing in one foolinf element, but they were dumb to notice it. He didn't want to insist, the friendship is more important. It was disappointing that they didn't expect him to put a twist in it.
Beautiful performance!
This was my great Uncle. My Grandmother’s oldest brother.
Frank was an incredible person - I knew him from working on ships first and then we formed Monday Night Magic - until his last days he was continuing to create beautiful magic. He was amazing! A GREAT man!
you are very welcome to come to see our show in NY, every Monday Night - feel free to reach out to me for tickets.
@@psamelson the next time I’m in NY, I sure will.
came back to this years later still love this !!!!
Wonder-full!!!
Not real cards so why it is so impressive?
Oh they are very real
So, you might ask yourself why Penn and Teller respond the way they do ...
Peter just had to comment and say I love this presentation. I was hoping you would end with “You’re Next! You’re Next!”
That was by far the finest presentation of that effect I've ever seen. Your kind of compelling narrative storytelling is too often missing from modern magic, with even one of the best-known magicians on the planet dispensing with it almost entirely. But you stay true to the art. Needless to say I know how it's done, but don't you dare change a single second of that routine! It's just beautiful, start to finish. 👏
Saw Peter on Penn & Teller. Love this guy, such a great presence! Thanks Peter, keep entertaining us!❤
ZZZZZZZZ. What a snooze. He should drop out of magic again. Penn and Teller weren't fooled, they just have there same friends as this clown and felt sorry for him.
Great performance, sir. You had me captivated
So very kind of you ...
Work of art
Mustn't have been easy performing for a dead theater. Wonderful performance (and a great story, too).
it was in the midst of Covid 2020 and very challenging
Anyone know what year this was, thank Love this
I was doing a commercial and they offered to shoot a piece for me since the studio was already set up. I’m pretty sure it is early 1980s.
@@psamelson "It was a Great year" I appreciate this routine Mr. Samelson and your work - I am working on a rendition of your routine for this work. Once I am ready I will post it for your enjoyment. Hope you approve, thank you again - Loved the finish
Absolute master of art and storytelling.
So enjoyable!
Masks are so stupid
Just Beautiful!
I love love loved this. Telling the story through the cards, just beautiful and for me, completely flawless. And when you took your glasses off and said "we win" I just loved it and clapped, just great
I really enjoy the invasion of the bodysnatchers theme of this! Very creative and impressive.
Love it! Thank you for making it available…🤩
thanks of the support!
Gorgeous routine….❣️♠️♣️♦️
Masks 😂
I think getting this words is worth more then the trophy
I completely agree!
I love him
I dont know I have just come across this video, but you did a remarkable job. This is the beauty of a true magician. Wonderful job with this act, Thank you very much for sharing you work.
I really enjoyed this one Very nice
He's got a John Malkovich thing going
Whats his right hand doing at 4:26
Just listen to that video crowd, kid
The story telling and theatrics here is probably the best ever on the show. Phenomenal and Soo well done.
Mask retardz
Thanks for sharing this video!
Nothing nicer than good coin Magic.
I was ready for him to pop his head off and turn into something and kill everyone when he said because and stared mkds
Teller is so moved to see his long time friend on the show that he is left SPEECHLESS! 🤣 But seriously though, it did look as though Teller & Penn as well were moved by this act.
I like that this magic is with story telling! Even if you didn't fool them, you amazed the audience and everyone who watched!
I loved seeing this amazing and emotional version of the “rolling paper” trick. Thanks for sharing
I refuse to watch masked people
As a magic layman, who barely understand even the basics of magic, the tricks that I find the most impressive are the gentle, subtle ones. Where effects are presented simply and consistently. Though the narrative that goes with this is rich, the technical presentation ultimately fits this criteria: gentle, subtle, and simple. And this makes the effect itself SO much more baffling an impressive as a result. How can be I fooled by such few elements? And yet here we are. I loved it.
What a great act. I'm just glad it doesn't have a stupid title or I wouldn't have seen it.
Irehan needs to explain this cuz I'm perplexed. I hate it when I don't have even a smidgen of an idea. I don't mind being wrong, but I loathe it when I get brain freeze and feel like a nincompoop. 😂
Seriously ? It's just an old trick called Wild card like Penn said. Look for tutorials on youtube. It's done with gaffe cards with king on one side and 7 on the other. Look at 3:22 - when he turns the cards the king that was in the middle shows the other side - the 7. The same thing at 3:42. However he uses a combination of effects not just that. Penn mentions wrinkles so he probably uses flap cards. At 3:03 you can see that king he will turn has another card behind it. Camera cuts on this show are atrocious.
This is the Most beautiful told story, without fancy props! JUST LOVED IT!
Wow, great finish
I think I have seen hundreds of clips and Penn does praise people at times, but not like that. You can feel Teller is about to cry there at the end. Truly magnificent performance and words from Penn and Teller.
